Yup I think they were working for the bad guys to try and save the girl which in the end the swat team came in and captured them instead and if you watch closely the girl actually gave Chanyeol a recording tape before he was hand cuffed at the car. And I think Monster MV scenes we see them fighting and rebelling but gets beaten up and captured but beakyun pretending to be a swat himself released them in the end. And alot of fans think either baekhyun or xiumin is the traitor in EXO as said in POWER teasers that someone among them is a spy. both xiumin and baekhyun pointing guns at each other in Loveshot. But the storyline still continues and we now have X-Exo in the picture too so things keep getting more and more comlex storyline wise. But can't wait for what will happen next!

In live performances at this time, Kai is absent when Lay is part of the performance because he is still recovering. However, when Kai is back performing the song, Lay was absent because he was busy doing solo activities in China. If you watch any live TV network performances of "Lotto" you might also notice that they change the title of the song to "Louder" and the lyrics are changed to use the word louder instead of lotto as well. Gambling is illegal in Korea and it's one of those things that are banned from being talked about in mainstream media. So in order to make the song TV- and radio-friendly they had to change everything to "Louder." I think the two stories in both "Lotto" and "Monster" actually overlap. We are not really sure what the girl takes from Chanyeol at the end of "Lotto", but it definitely wasn't money. If you pay attention to the lyrics, one of the English lines is, "I don't need no money." That is why they burn the huge stack of cash. There is an overwhelming use of flowers in many of their MVs, and as you see in "Love Shot," for example, they aren't collecting money but flowers. It's been more than 5 years since "Lotto" came out and I have seen the MV dozens of times, and each time I watch it I still see something different and am still working to unravel more clues. But "Lotto" and "Monster" are the two EXO MVs that have me the most confused. I'm still struggling to really grasp the full story those MVs are trying to tell. I think part of the reason why I find these two MVs so confusing, is the fact that they depart the most from the linear storyline and the story jumps back and forth between the two MVs so much that it's difficult to put the events in order to really make a clear picture.

There's this music poducer/composer that worked for EXO before, he actually said that other music companies asked for him to produce songs that will par with EXO's but he stated that it is not possible coz EXO is not just a group but another level. A level that is quite hard to reach. I mean EXO songs were not usually used in K-pop auditions and even live covers are not that many coz it is quite hard to do their songs with live vocals.
Just like chanyeol said in 2019 during their latest concert the EXplOration 5, "the storyline concept we got going on these years is to keep things more interesting for our fans" and true to his words it is very fun and interesting for us fans to piece together all the puzzle pieces.
