Thrift with me at Goodwill Las Vegas! We are at the store at Rainbow and Cheyenne and with temperatures over 100 degrees, it felt good to get into the air conditioning. They were restocking when I arrived and I was excited to find something amazing in almost every aisle! I have my Thrifting Vegas Blanket and my reuseable shopping bags, so Thrift with me and learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. The blue dish with the stylised bird (8:18) is from Romania, from a village called Corund/Korond. Corund is famous for this type of handmade folk and very ornate dishes and pottery pieces. They are made in large quantities even today, not ever so valuable.

The crystal glass bowl was probably sitting because of the Homegoods sticker on bottom underneath sticker , for some reason resellers tend to avoid buying stuff that has stickers like this but i think its still lovely and worth selling for sure
Absolutely! I think it is a common assumption that goods that pass through closeout stores like Homegoods, Ross and TJMax are not worth reselling, but I have found some amazing treasures!!! oxo

Loved seeing today's finds; I always learn another tidbit watching your videos. In Maine, I have ruby throated hummers; the male will feed when I am 5-7' away, but "mama hummer" is too shy. We have the small ruby-throated ones--so pretty! Dutchess, the Tortoiseshell cat, watches them avidly through the glass door!

My salvation army also participates in Christmas in July but much of it is for display only and not for sale which is so so strange. Also it's best to grab anything you like at tjmax because once it makes it to a Goodwill most likely it will be marked up if it looks special or if it feels heavy lol.

I suspect that Ikea vase is a retired piece that has good value. Never leave Ikea without checking it first. Some things are worth hundreds, Ikea has loyal fans.

The large vase that you start out with. You're going to leave it because it's too heavy. Doesn't the person who buys it pay the shipping? And if it's that special wouldn't they want to pay the shipping to be able to own it??
LOL!! Yeahhh, that’s true but to many ppl refuse to pay shipping once they find out how much it would cost on an item that heavy. Plus packing it for shipment would be awful to deal with. Leaving it on the shelf = was the right call!
