I appreciate the response to my question and I respect anyone who is sincerely attempting to obey God. I have studied the Old Testament for 20 years. The reason for my questioning as well as the reason for I think a lot of others skepticism when we hear someone talking about keeping the Torah, is not the individuals sincerity, but just as you had mentioned people’s lack of studying the Torah, I also think many Christians don’t have a proper intellectual understanding of the gospel either. Paul said in the second chapter of Colossians that the dietary laws, keeping the Sabbath, the feast, the new moon were merely a shadow, a representation of something else and that something else or the substance as Paul calls it, is Christ. All of the feast days were representative of The ministry of Christ. I celebrate the feast of Passover and remembrance of the crucifixion, but I don’t keep the Passover as prescribed in the Old Testament. I celebrate the feast of Tabernacle for eight days every year but it is in looking forward to the earthly Kingdom of Christ. I celebrate the feast of trumpets every year, but I know that it represents the return of Christ and him becoming king on earth. Paul says in Romans, that no food in and of itself is actually unclean. And if you read Leviticus, which I just read yesterday, when talking about the dietary laws the text is pretty specific that those foods should be unclean “for you “. I think that’s significant because those individuals were under the old covenant, not the new covenant. Again, I don’t condemn anyone who is devoting their life to pleasing God, I think it’s respectable and too many Christians don’t even make an attempt to obey God. But, I went the first 15 years of my walk with Christ thinking that God‘s acceptance of me was somehow tied to my ability to refrain from sinning and I was a miserable Christian, depressed, thinking I was moving in and out of salvation based on my performance and behavior. Romans three is clear, no human being was ever justified by the law, including the Old Testament Saints. God was able to justify Moses, Daniel, King David, Jeremiah threw the mechanism of faith because of what Christ would do later on in history. They were never justified Through the works of the law. Daniel, was justified by his faith in God because of what Christ would do on the cross. Abraham was justified by faith 400 years before the law. The mechanism through which God justifies his elect has never changed, it has always been through faith, and the law was given so that men who were sincere in serving God would come to the realization that they could not do it, and they needed a savior. Thank Godfor the plan of salvation through faith in Christ.
@@KingdomSistersInTorah here is a very interesting fact about the feast. The word feast as you referenced means set time or appointed time. The term holy convocation could be translated dress rehearsal, practice run. Jesus is the fulfillment of the Old Testament feast. Jesus was crucified on the feast day of Passover, the feast of unleavened bread was a seven day celebration and the number seven in scripture represents perfection or completion, the idea behind unleavened bread was to get all of the 11 out of one’s house and 11 can represent sin, and Jesus was sinless perfectly his entire life and thus his sinless life represent the feast of unleavened bread fulfilled, Christ was raised from the dead on the feast of firsts, the Holy Spirit was given on the feast day of Pentecost. The three spring feast has been fulfilled, the summer feast has been fulfilled and is in the process of being fulfilled as new believers are harvested, the false feast represent the return of Christ - we can know that Christ was actually born during the fall likely (because we know how the feasts are tied to his ministry) on the feast day of trumpets. Let me explain, in first Chronicles we can see how David ordered the divisions of the priesthood for service. We know that John the Baptist‘s father was a priest of the order of Abijah, and based on first Chronicles we know when his division served in the temple. We know because of the gospel account that John the Baptist was born six months before Jesus so all we have to do is determine when John the Baptist father was serving in the temple, go nine months forward to determine when John was born, and then go six months forward to determine when Jesus was born and it puts him right there near the feast of trumpets. Now the interesting thing about trumpets is that Moses was told to make two silver trumpets, one for going out and one for coming in, it is my belief that the first silver trumpet is the birth of Christ, and the second silver trumpet is the return of Christ. Silver commonly represents the idea of Redemption of the Old Testament. But you might say no man knows the day or the hour of Christ return, I do agree with that. However if you understand the importance of the new moon, which is the beginning of the new month in Israel, there is a provision in the event that there is not clear visibility in the sky and because the feast of trumpets is the only feast that starts on the first day of the month, it’s actually celebrated over two days called one long day. The new moon was such an important thing to observe in ancient Israel that they would actually celebrate it over two days in the event they couldn’t actually see the moon on the first day of the month. So today we celebrate the feast of trumpets as both the birth of Christ, and the return of Christ. Now the day of atonement is an interesting one, obviously Jesus was the sacrifice for the atonement of sins but I also think that there will be something related to the restoration of the Jewish people after Christ return. I know that kind of flies in the face of what we typically think the return of Christ will be like and I’m open to being wrong but the day of atonement was not about the individuals sins, but about the sins of the nation committed in ignorance. And then the feast of tabernacle which again was a seven day feast, again representing completion followed by an extra eighth day, I believe represents Christ earthly ministry as king for the thousand years. When we understand that the feasts are a representation or what Paul calls a shadow in Colossians too, but the substance is Christ, we see that the feast were not actually the main thing, they were prophetic so that New Testament believers could look back and see that God‘s plan , down to every little detail including the feast, the priesthood, the sacrifices, the priest garments, all represented Jesus. Praise God for his plan of salvation through Jesus Christ

If one looks up the Hebrew word for "separation" during a women's time of the month. It does NOT mean a separation from her family or the people and that they had to be sent outside the camp. I just means that they could not go to temple during that time of the month. It was a ceremonial time of separation due to human blood not being allowed in the Temple. That is it, as far as I could tell.
The laws of niddah are a set of Jewish laws that govern a woman's menstrual cycle and her interactions with others. The laws are based on the Torah, particularly Leviticus 15 and 18. What are the laws of niddah? Physical separation A woman who is menstruating must maintain physical distance from her husband or husband-to-be. This includes sleeping in separate beds. Ritual impurity Anyone who touches a menstruating woman or anything she sits or lies on is considered unclean until evening. Sexual separation A man who has sexual intercourse with a menstruating woman is considered unclean for seven days. Immersion in a mikveh A woman who has menstruated must immerse herself in a ritual bath to end her period of ritual impurity. Harchakot These are the laws of separation that prohibit certain types of physical contact with a menstruating woman. Why are the laws of niddah in place? The laws of niddah are intended to prevent the spread of ritual impurity. The laws of niddah are also intended to remind people of their separation from one another.

A great example of this is Hebrews 8:3-4 where the winter of Hebrews say that’s if Yeshua was on earth he would NOT be a priest. Because he’s not from Levi but from Judah. That’s why his priesthood is in heaven.
Yeshu'a is Ha'Rishon/Summit of the line of the Kings (David threw Joseph/biological father), of the line of the Prophets (Nathan threw Heli), and of the line of the Priests (Tzadok threw Maryam's father)
Can you please explain that if Jesus was Joseph’s biological son, then how can he be divine? Also if he was a descendant of Nathan, that would disqualify Jesus from being the messiah. The messiah can only come through David and Solomon. These are the words of God on this matter with respect to Solomon’s right to the throne. 1. “He shall build me an house, and I will establish his throne forever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom forever: and his throne shall be established forevermore”. (1 Chronicles 17:12-14) 2. 12 When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. 13He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. 15 But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you. 16 Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me[a]; your throne will be established forever.’” (2 Sam. 7:12-16) 3. And David said to Solomon, “My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God: But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. Behold, a son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days. He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever”. (1Chronicles 22:7-10) According to these verses, God makes the promises with respect to the successors of the throne to David and through Solomon, not Nathan. Also, tribal affiliation is never ascertained through the mother. and attribute it to Mary? Since the Messiah must be from the tribe of his father, why would Luke focus on Mary’s ancestry without clarifying his reasoning? There are actually five names that Matthew has omitted to make his accounting work. The five names he omitted are: Ahaziah, Jehoash, Amazia Jehoiakim and Pedaiah Is it a big deal to omit names, or is it acceptable to allow an abridged version of the truth to be an accurate accounting? If he is being dishonest about the accounting of names, then the numbers linking the numbers 14 and the divine number 7 mean nothing.
This was no arbitrary decision Matthew made. At least one name would present a problem for Jesus when it comes to kingly descendants. Jechonias(28) was a very wicked king but perhaps because Matthew doesn't read Hebrew very well, he leaves his name in. He mistakes his father Jehoiakim's name for his son and takes Jehoiakim's name out instead. Jechonias(28). was cursed by God and told that none of his children would sit on the throne in Israel again. Here is the passage. “Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah. (Jeremiah22:30) God is saying that Jechonias (28) will have none of his children sit on the throne. Instead of his son, Salathiel(29) sitting on the throne, Jechonias' (28) brother Zedekiah takes his place. So how do you solve the problem of the cursed lineage? if Matthew is correct and Jesus does come from this lineage then he cannot be eligible to be king. In 1 Chronicles 3:19 list “The sons of Pedaiah (missing in Matthew’s account): Zerubbabel and Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister. There were also five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah and Jushab-Hesed. These do not line up with the names listed in Matthew’s account and only reflects that he omits more names.
There is a difference between accomplishing every command required of you in a Covenant..... which Christ did.... .... and failing to accomplish what's required..... which is every other human. And, The Mosaic contracts required perfect obedience to all applicable laws..... or the curses would befall you (Gal 3:10ff).
Even the Messiah was incapable of practicing everything in Torah as a man, but He did uphold all of Torah. We too are incapable of practicing all of Torah in like manner to the Messiah, plus there's even more we cannot practice without the Levitical priesthood and a Temple. However, like the Messiah did, we can learn and uphold all of Torah.
I try to explain this to many. That the whole reason Yahshua came as a man was to lead us back to righteousness and holiness and to show us that we too can live and fulfill the Command to "be holy as I am holy." We are instructed to "walk, even as He walked."

Can you please explain about how the law says to wash clothing or whatever is unclean in water and it’ll be unclean until evening. Why don’t we do that today? I’m not talking about washing clothes in the washer. It reads as if we are to immediately wash whatever it is in water. Not to be vulgar but what about married couples? Do we need to wash our bed sheets every night due to sexual discharges? This is an honest question not an attack.. I’m new to the Torah keeping.
I believe that we can KEEP the whole Torah, but we are not able to DO the whole Torah. "Keep" simply means to guard or put a hedge around it. There are numerous ways in which we "keep" the Torah, and one of those is by doing it. Even for the parts that we are unable to do, we can still "keep" them.
Let us remember that when Yeshua and His Apostles were preaching and referring to scripture it was only the TANAKH (Old Testament) that they quoted, what's referred to as the New Testament wouldn't come along for about 3 centuries later. James 2 :10 For whoever keeps the whole Torah, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all./ ELOHIM warns not to add to or take away from any of HIS TORAH and Yeshua said don't even let it enter into your mind that I came to change the Torah, no not even the smallest strokes (Hebrew alphabet) of it will pass away. If anyone changes the Torah then it changes the whole continuity of the Torah because it is THE PERFECT WORD OF YEHOVAH ELOHIM AND IT IS EVERLASTING, ETERNAL AND UNCHANGING AND HIS WORD HAS BEEN SETTLED IN HEAVEN. So that's why James said that if anyone breaks one of the INSTRUCTIONS they are guilty of breaking all of the instructions because all of the instructions are unified. Shalom and we should aspire to live in Covenant Torah with YEHOVAH THE ALMIGHTY GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISSAC AND JACOB and not to serve any religion which will always lead people down the road to destruction, Yeshua said if you want to have everlasting life then guard the Torah (instructions). Romans 14:20 was about meat sacrificed to idols. None of them were eating biblically unclean animals in that context. The "weak" were avoiding all animal meat because they were worried about consuming meat sacrificed to idols. "Clean" in that verse is referring to the pollution of idols.
@ryanofthevalley I cited much more than Romans 14:20. Nothing mentioned about idols in that portion of Romans 14. James is speaking to Israel, not the church (James 1:1).
@johnmann8659 I didn't have time to address every verse you mentioned, so I just gave one example of how it can be understood differently, and you can't ignore the context of the whole book and just isolate those verses (and there's nothing in them about unclean animals anyway; why does it mention eating only vegetables if the issue is which animals are clean and unclean?). James is in the "new testament," and what he mentions about the church in the wilderness is relevant either way. God's people are one body, not divided. Not observing laws that don't apply to you is different than not having the ability to observe those laws. Torah observers are putting a unnecessary yoke on Christians. Acts 15:5 "But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them (Gentiles) and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”" Acts 15:8-10 "And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them (Gentiles), by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?" Acts 15:28-29 "For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you (Gentiles) no greater burden than these requirements: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”" The Torah is for those living in the flesh, not those walking in the Spirit. Romans 7:4-6 " Likewise, my brothers, you also have DIED to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may BELONG TO ANOTHER, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are RELEASED from the law, having DIED to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and NOT in the old way of the WRITTEN CODE. Gal.5:16 "But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
Problem in Galatia was actually the opposite, that they did not really keep the Torah. There was a twisted teaching that obedience to the commandments in our own strength is going to save us. So the problem was in the interpretation of the Law, not in that the Law was bad. Law is good and we have the privilege to obey it through faith, not that we try to save ourselves but to live by faith! Be careful with the Scriptures and keep asking revelation from the Lord. Be blessed in Christ. ”For even those who are circumcised DO NOT themselves KEEP THE LAW, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.” Gal. 6:13 Circumcision was not the problem but that people forced circumcision on people that they may boast of their own followers.

Physical separation
A woman who is menstruating must maintain physical distance from her husband or husband-to-be. This includes sleeping in separate beds.
Ritual impurity
Anyone who touches a menstruating woman or anything she sits or lies on is considered unclean until evening.
Sexual separation
A man who has sexual intercourse with a menstruating woman is considered unclean for seven days.
Immersion in a mikveh
A woman who has menstruated must immerse herself in a ritual bath to end her period of ritual impurity.
Harchakot
These are the laws of separation that prohibit certain types of physical contact with a menstruating woman.
Why are the laws of niddah in place?
The laws of niddah are intended to prevent the spread of ritual impurity.
The laws of niddah are also intended to remind people of their separation from one another.

Great message brother!
I will be his father, and
he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that
was before thee: But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom forever: and his
throne shall be established forevermore”. (1 Chronicles 17:12-14)
2. 12 When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring
to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. 13He is the
one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom
forever. 14 I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish
him with a rod wielded by men, with floggings inflicted by human hands. 15 But my love
will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from
before you. 16 Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me[a]; your throne
will be established forever.’” (2 Sam. 7:12-16)
3. And David said to Solomon, “My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto
the name of the LORD my God: But the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Thou hast
shed blood abundantly, and hast made great wars: thou shalt not build an house unto my
name, because thou hast shed much blood upon the earth in my sight. Behold, a son shall
be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest; and I will give him rest from all his enemies
round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto
Israel in his days. He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will
be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever”.
(1Chronicles 22:7-10)
According to these verses, God makes the promises with respect to the successors of the throne
to David and through Solomon, not Nathan.
Also, tribal affiliation is never ascertained through the mother. and attribute it to Mary?
Since the Messiah must be from the tribe of his father, why would Luke focus on Mary’s ancestry
without clarifying his reasoning?
There are actually five names that Matthew has
omitted to make his accounting work. The five names he omitted are: Ahaziah, Jehoash, Amazia
Jehoiakim and Pedaiah Is it a big deal to omit names, or is it acceptable to allow an abridged
version of the truth to be an accurate accounting? If he is being dishonest about the accounting
of names, then the numbers linking the numbers 14 and the divine number 7 mean nothing.
This was no arbitrary decision Matthew made. At least one name would present a problem for
Jesus when it comes to kingly descendants. Jechonias(28) was a very wicked king but perhaps
because Matthew doesn't read Hebrew very well, he leaves his name in. He mistakes his father
Jehoiakim's name for his son and takes Jehoiakim's name out instead. Jechonias(28). was cursed
by God and told that none of his children would sit on the throne in Israel again. Here is the
passage. “Thus saith the LORD, Write ye this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his
days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more
in Judah. (Jeremiah22:30) God is saying that Jechonias (28) will have none of his children sit on
the throne. Instead of his son, Salathiel(29) sitting on the throne, Jechonias' (28) brother Zedekiah
takes his place. So how do you solve the problem of the cursed lineage? if Matthew is correct and
Jesus does come from this lineage then he cannot be eligible to be king.
In 1 Chronicles 3:19 list “The sons of Pedaiah (missing in Matthew’s account): Zerubbabel and
Shimei. The sons of Zerubbabel: Meshullam and Hananiah. Shelomith was their sister. There were
also five others: Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah and Jushab-Hesed.
These do not line up with the names listed in Matthew’s account and only reflects that he
omits more names.

However, like the Messiah did, we can learn and uphold all of Torah.

I think that’s fine. I would wear gloves myself, and only bring up the dietary law if he asked.
Amen bro.!!
@ryanofthevalley
I cited much more than Romans 14:20.
You just have to look at the text without your dispensational filter. It's hard, I know.

We weren't supposed to be able to keep them. The "law" & commandments etc, were meant to give us the understanding that we were sinners & that we need a means of salvation above our own abilities. That's why we need Jesus Christ... people tend to so overcomplicate it all. Especially us, gentiles. We were never even under the law. Romans 2 : 14-16...
👍🏻😀
Not observing laws that don't apply to you is different than not having the ability to observe those laws. Torah observers are putting a unnecessary yoke on Christians.
Acts 15:5 "But some believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees rose up and said, “It is necessary to circumcise them (Gentiles) and to order them to keep the law of Moses.”"
Acts 15:8-10 "And God, who knows the heart, bore witness to them (Gentiles), by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did to us, and he made no distinction between us and them, having cleansed their hearts by faith. Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?"
Acts 15:28-29 "For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you (Gentiles) no greater burden than these requirements: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”"
The Torah is for those living in the flesh, not those walking in the Spirit.
”For even those who are circumcised DO NOT themselves KEEP THE LAW, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.”
Gal. 6:13
Circumcision was not the problem but that people forced circumcision on people that they may boast of their own followers.

@@scottwilliams5196 the Marcionite Bible said Jesus' Words will outlast heaven and earth. making the verses make sense.
The Law and the Prophets (lasted) until John; from then the realm of God is being proclaimed, and everyone is pressing into it. But it is easier for the celestial sphere and the earth to pass away than for a single stroke of my words to fall.
In v. 17, the Evangelion read “one stroke of my words to fall” (Tertullian, Marc. 4.33.9); the witnesses to Luke consistently have, “one stroke of the Law to fall.” The latter reading seems to contradict the immediately preceding verse, where it is said that the Law was in effect only until John, while the former reading has a close parallel in 21.33.

You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning by means of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh? Have you experienced so much in vain-if it really was in vain? So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
You need Jesus to keep Jesus' law. Jesus is LORD, not Moses.
The apostles never taught any of this. This is all assumption. You will not find this teaching in the New testament
For whoever is under law is under a curse
[Moreover, (it is) evident that by law no one is rectified with God.] Learn therefore that “the ethical person will live based on trust.” [But the Law is not (observed) based on trust,] but “the one who does them shall live by them.” Christos has purchased us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse on our behalf-
