There were tons of scenes which were badass in the manga but were either altered or removed altogether. It such a waste! It would have been on the level of other big time animes 😭😭😭.

I'm just seriously pissed that they didn't make a 3rd season to wrap things up. Yet Naruto is still getting huge publicity and another damn movie and a bunch of other crap. If my assumptions are correct, the director made some alterations to the anime that the author didn't like or agreed upon. (The director wanted Rikuo's partner to be Kana but the author intended it to be Yuki-Onna(just an example. There may be more issues the director changed)). So this may have caused the author to actually stop working with the anime and didn't approve any further seasons. I'm not entirely sure. I'm just connecting some dots and making assumptions I suppose but this is what I could come up with that makes sense.
That's some major bull, lol. It was literally confirmed that Rikuo and Tsurara were at the very least attracted to one another, and the fact that the director tried to change anything at all is already horrible. The manga is perfect the way it is. That's just really unfortunate :/
Hagoromo Gitsune put a curse on Nurarihyon that his youkai bloodline would disappear gradually, made Nurarihyon and Rihan unable to have children with youkai. Rihan and Rikuo could be born because Youhime and Wakana were human. Yamabuki blamed her inability to conceive on herself and eventually left Rihan.

Sometimes it feels like the fandom tends to forget about Wakana and Rihan, but it's not there fault considering the fact that there is more Yamabuki and Rihan moments.... Wish the author actually explained and got into depth between Wakana's and Rihan's relationship more.....

Is Kana more popular than Yura? I could see the chemistry of Kana and Rikuo I suppose, whenever they have scenes, especially the one where Kana is on the front lines, I admit that is sweet. But I'm more into forbidden stuff personally. Yura and Rikuo are the heads of their respective clans in the end, a youkai clan and a youkai-slayer clan. I couldn't see the thing about master and servant of Tsurara and Rikuo. Perhaps I do not like how Tsurara practically raise Rikuo and I saw her as a sort of mother-hen(she's so protective of him) to Rikuo. I suppose I'm uncomfortable with the idea so I never felt their chemistry. Heck, when the mirror thing came out Kana is my first thought but when Yura goes badass she became my bias.
Still want to watch the tale of Rihan amd Yamabuki otome. But i hope Rikuo end up with Tsurara. Rihan couldnt had children with Yamabuki because of the curse... I really didnt want rikuo have the same situation

Yes, it pierced through his heart wether is physically or mentally. Because, rihan said that even though he could be happy again when he met wakana, deep in his heart he still cannot forgiving himself for losing yamabuki otome. And that's why, he only could saying "sorry sorry sorry" when he was stabbed.

Remember when Tamazuki told Gozu and Mezu that he would continually injure them even in small increments that just if "their spirits spirits break, they would disappear". If that's the case then it would mean that it could be possible to just stab Rihan in the heart, and have him disappear by breaking his spirit. I mean, as he died, he only said "sorry, sorry" continuously until he disappeared right? It broke his spirit and his heart which was just repaired by Wakana 😭😭😭.
Thanks to this song and some past attachments, I remembered this anime. I just finished the manga and reread it. It's so wonderful! 2020 now and there seems to be no hope... 😭😭😭 However, there might be one way for it to come back... By pulling a Bleach card. Have it return and animated by popular demand as that is one of the basis of whether they would animate a story or not. I really hope that this gets wanted so much, the other arcs would be animated. 😭😭😭💕💕💕

I couldn't see the thing about master and servant of Tsurara and Rikuo. Perhaps I do not like how Tsurara practically raise Rikuo and I saw her as a sort of mother-hen(she's so protective of him) to Rikuo. I suppose I'm uncomfortable with the idea so I never felt their chemistry. Heck, when the mirror thing came out Kana is my first thought but when Yura goes badass she became my bias.
Still want to watch the tale of Rihan amd Yamabuki otome. But i hope Rikuo end up with Tsurara. Rihan couldnt had children with Yamabuki because of the curse...

His dad was the strongest but dies in one pierce but Rikuo was the weakest and survived so many slashes and pierces... maybe rihan's heart was straight pierced through then....
Ryu's Bubbles but his father got his heart(or liver) stolen by hagorome gitsune and live a long life.. i always think Rihans death a bit off
Yes, it pierced through his heart wether is physically or mentally. Because, rihan said that even though he could be happy again when he met wakana, deep in his heart he still cannot forgiving himself for losing yamabuki otome. And that's why, he only could saying "sorry sorry sorry" when he was stabbed.

Remember when Tamazuki told Gozu and Mezu that he would continually injure them even in small increments that just if "their spirits spirits break, they would disappear". If that's the case then it would mean that it could be possible to just stab Rihan in the heart, and have him disappear by breaking his spirit. I mean, as he died, he only said "sorry, sorry" continuously until he disappeared right? It broke his spirit and his heart which was just repaired by Wakana 😭😭😭.
In conclusion losing yamabuki otome is a slow death for him.

Thanks to this song and some past attachments, I remembered this anime. I just finished the manga and reread it. It's so wonderful! 2020 now and there seems to be no hope... 😭😭😭 However, there might be one way for it to come back... By pulling a Bleach card. Have it return and animated by popular demand as that is one of the basis of whether they would animate a story or not. I really hope that this gets wanted so much, the other arcs would be animated. 😭😭😭💕💕💕
