oh wow! thank you Peggy! a LOT of people are confusing these 2 phrases, and perhaps teaching it incorrectly..we gotta remember- "baptized" means "FULL immersion"..i too had this confused in my mind..i just thought that if we're FILLED, then we're filled up, no more can be added..but that ain't all there is to the story! (sorta speak)..there's always more! complete "babtism" is fully drenched in every cell of our "being"- spirit, soul, and body..did i get it right this time?? or did my brain swap those 2 things, again? i love the way you preach/teach- FAST pace! my brain has to 'double time' it to keep up! and then listen to the whole thing again- to find out what i might have missed! thanks sooo much for sharing all these wonderful teachings! I do have a question regarding the well .
I always thought thought the wellspring could be in us . Perhaps that is true if He is in us .
Then other teachings interpreted John as Jesus being The Wellspring of Life . When we get " empty" we go to Him to fret living water . Not sure if I'm splitting hairs here .
And I too have found answers to questions I've had for years !

I have been wondering because im saved. I know I am. Theres no possible way Ive gotten through and over came what God got me through without the Holy Spirit but Ive never spoke in tongues and Ive always asked for it and been prayed over and loosened my tongue and increased my faith and all kinds of things to get it. Ive been saved for 20 years and still never spoke in tongues.

I had a born again experience but I don’t feel that I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. I went to. a Christian conference and I had rouges but wonder if I step out in faith and just spoke it. I didn’t feel that it was an experience. I don’t hear the Lord. I don’t know what to think. I’am asking for advice on this please❤️🙏

Commands to wait for baptism of Holy Spirit
Baptism is the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit for it signifies and actually brings about the birth of water and the Spirit without which no one can enter the KINGDOM OF gOD.

Is it possible that one receives the gift of speaking in tongues, but is not baptised in the Holy Spirit? Because this is what it "feels like" in my life. Dry, spiritually "numb" to the presence of the Spirit. I never sensed the Holy Spirit, but clearly speak in (various) tongues. Can anyone bless me with an answer on this?
I believe this is what the speaker is talking about when we feel dry. You will have to seek and ask him how to spend time with him so that the Lord can touch and fill you up with the living waters other wise we feel dry.

I respectfully disagree that when Jesus breathed on His apostles that they then recieved the Holy Spirit.
The word " recieve", in the new testaments original Greek, means "to take hold of".
On the day of pentecost, in Acts ch.2, just before the believers recieved the Holy Spirit, the Word says that a mighty wind blew through the area where they were gathered. The natural reaction to wind blowing in your face is to breath in. So the believers breathed in, recieved the Holy Spirit, and spoke in tongues.Just as in the natural, when born, a baby breathes in and cries.
In Acts ch.10 when the gentiles recieved the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues, Peter turned to the six disciples with him and said," Can anyone forbid water that these should not be baptized who have recieved the Holy Spirit just as we did"?
( Acts 10:47).
How did the jews know that the gentiles had recieved the Holy Spirit ? Because they spoke in tongues just as they did when they recieved.
An interesting comment. However, Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, breathes on the disciples. Isn't that the breathe of the Spirit, right there, being breathed into them? I don't believe Jesus did anything to just be symbolic. The disciples needed the Spirit for faith and comfort after Jesus' ascension. Jesus entrusted this little group with the faith of the new covenant. How easily that faith could have dimmed, without the lamp of the Holy Spirit burning in them.
@janem6034 When Jesus breathed on the apostles and said," Recieve ye the Holy Spirit" they didn't recieve the Spirit then. They recieved the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost in Acts ch.2.
Right before they recieved ,a wind blew through the Pavillion where they were gathered.
What is the natural reaction to having wind blow in your face ? You breath in. The word " recieve "in the original Greek means," to take hold of".

In order for Peter and the six to have recieved the Holy Spirit just as the gentiles did they also would have had to speak in tongues.
How can I become baptized in the Holy Spirit?
3 years ago, I was baptised in Holy Spirit 🙌 I didn't even know that could happen. I had a desire to pray in tongues so much. And it just happened a speaker came to my church and after preaching he invited people for prayer. With that desire I went and asked for ability to pray in tongues. He looked at me 😅 and he said OK, and he prayed for baptism oh Holy Spirit. I didn't feel anything that moment. But that pastor pushed me aside and said pray until you will start to pray in tongues. I just believed and after a short wile I started to pray in tongues. But little I know my world went upside down. My eyes opened and my elders in the church didn't like it at all. Now I am laughing but that time I was confused. God our Heavenly Daddy send me a massive help(people who were baptised in Holy Spirit) And it is true the rivers of living water was and is flowing. The true ministry can be only with both filled and baptised in Holy Spirit. GOD IS GOOD

Ever heard of Babtist or Watermark Church? Millions of believers in both groups. Neither group accepts the teaching. What does one do? How are these millions of people convenced of the filling of the Holy Spirit important in their lives? I get so frustrated.
I became a Christian at age 12. Taught and followed Southern Baptist teaching most of my life. Then, after my husband passed when I was 43 yrs old, I really began seeking and spending time with the Lord. I read in James that we will cast out devils and speak in new tongues. I had friends that spoke in tongues too. If the apostles did and other people did, then I wanted and asked for the gift as well. Long story, but 3 years later at 46 years old, I received this most wonderful gift!! My life, especially prayer life, has never been the same. Seek, knock, ask, and you will receive. Also, if you can find a teaching by Sid Roth called The Supernatural Power of Supernatural Language (or close to the title), it would be of great help. I hope you go after everything God has for you!! Don't let a denomination think for you. Blessings in Jesus and may you encounter the power and love of the Holy Spirit ❤
I have been living in the Holy Ghost for over 50 years. This is such a mix of baptist/apostolic doctrine. There is so much here that is just not right. However there are bits that make a good analogy for the continued infilling. Not everyone who cry's Lord Lord shall enter in.
I was asked to expound exactly what I meant by the above, so here goes. Now I respect Peggy, I have listened to many of her videos. I agree so much of what she teaches but on this there are points that I differ. I believe that she has things a bit backward. The disciples were not "born again" when Jesus breathed on them. They were not filled. They had the Holy Ghost with them to carry them to and through the mission. We do not receive the infilling before the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I was eighteen when I fell to my knees and cried out Jesus' name over and over. I felt the demon leaving my body from the feet up and then the spirit spoke through the one laying hands..." see that devil run" I opened my eyes to see the demon leave me, It was soul that had lived in me for most of my life. Then I felt the Holy Ghost entering into me. I washed clean inside and out. My face was different, shiny and clean and I sat back and asked what had just happened to me. they told me that I had gotten the Holy Ghost. I didn't even know that a holy ghost existed. I barely new the name Jesus. Believing in Jesus is the first step but it doesn't make you filled or born again for the devils believe and tremble. the problem is that because of the apostate churches people don't know when they are truly born of God. You cannot have the infilling first. Baptism of the spirit comes first with evidence, the real evidence doesn't sound anything like man's words. These tongues are not the gift of tongues for it is the voice of the spirit. As we live in the Holy Ghost, we will receive more of the infilling, by praying in the spirit. We are recharged as we use the energy of the Holy Ghost more is provided IF we pray in the spirit and study his word, which is the real meaning of communion. We are not saved by believing only but by following peters command in acts 2:38. We will be saved once Jesus comes and we are worthy of rapture. Saved means safe.
