Ok just for a laugh Robyn When you said “gently tap it” i immediately thought about Patrick when he and spongebob took squidward jellyfishing, and he keeps saying to squidward firmly grasp it i your hand, firmly grasp it, FIRMLY GRASP IT! Sorry had to do it 😂😂😂😂😂
@@BathFizzFoam YES!!!!!! My husbands favorite episode is when he and squidward go on strike 😂. But his favorite character is plankton. He said he’s a misunderstood organism.
Oh! My! Gosh! I think you need to link this video to the original post of the “recipe” as a warning to others so they don’t try it. (Thanks, sacrificial lamb!) ;)
@@BathFizzFoam That's an AWESOME series idea! But that's coming from my selfish self that is always wanting to learn better how others "think" so I can better my troubleshooting skills. LOL
OMG! I am laughing so hard right now. I swear we are distantly related. I had to call my fiancee' in to watch. Seriously though, This was a great video and i feel we have very siliar personalities. OK, done sounding creepy! I have been trying to figure out color and I just made some color powders, i havent even tried them yet. I do use polysorbate--though im nervous telling you that i use coconut oil too. I just wanted to say HI! I'm April. Newbie round here-lol. Great Video!! ( its definitely looking like I will be doing more research and watching more of your videos) Thank you for your videos.
Haha there’s no issue with coconut oil! I don’t personally use it because I have a topical allergy to it and will get hives 🙈 but as long as you have that poly in there it will be just fine!
That’s a good suggestion! We used to use dawn and vinegar to clean showers, but actually the scrubbing bubbles got most of the oil… the mica just sort of… sticks 😅… especially with older tubs like mine hahah
I feel your purple mica pain. I accidentally spilled 1/16 tsp of queen’s purple mica on my carpet a few months ago. Hand and machine cleaning did very little. I’ll have to tear out the carpet to make that stain go away. 😂
Yeah, I have a couple over my table so I don’t have to move them all the time! 😅 I’ve had a bunch from Amazon, but this is the one you saw on the video! www.amazon.com/dp/B07P7Z1FWL/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QR4GEEEWYDF3VYKS1P00
Ehhhh. To clean the tub? That maybe would work in theory. It would need to be poly 20 since poly 80 doesn’t go through spray bottles, and even then I don’t know if it would work!
i was so proud of my first bath bombs until that happened to me!! I had found a very similar recipe to the one you have and they were holding so perfectly and they were hard and i had made them bright orange . i wanted to give them to some friends but decided to try them out my self before. So i got into the bath and threw the bomb into the water and i was so amazed by the fizz i got ! But when i got out of the bath!!! i was ORANGE!!! and yes it took like about an hour to clean the bath and like two days to really get rid of the orange on my skin!
@@BathFizzFoam yeah when I first started (before finding bff support group) the recipe I used was in cups lol its not a bad starting place but grams is so much better now. Also didn't know about poly 80 at the beginning and used food colorants lol. That was about 5 years ago now. My bbs are much better now :)
@@drazil99 I mean, yeah! I think that's how we all start, and it makes sense because we all have measuring cups, but not necessarily a digital scale lol! I'm so glad the group able to help you a bit... it's way more fun when you have lots of success than lots of failures 😁
Ahhhh! Doesn't it suck! I figured it out after I had been eating coconut popsicles every night for almost a month and was in AGONY... lol. My doctor was like... what is wrong with you STOP 😂
I wonder if you had just added some poly to warm water in your tub if that might have worked better or more easily? Maybe a wtf problem solving vid is in order? 😂
Enjoy watching you cleaning the testing bath over and over dear 😂
Hahah it’s such a crazy pre-occupation I have at the moment that I keep destroying my tub lol 😂
You had me at "B*tch No!" 🤣
Lmao. I don’t trust people who don’t cuss a little 😅

Ok. I’m a huge spongebob fan though. The first four seasons are pure gold! 😅

There is nothing more relaxing after a warm bath than spending an hour cleaning the tub!
LMAO! Exactly my thoughts! I mean I love relaxing in a pool of oily mica, but cleaning it for an hour is just the cherry on top 😂
I was gonna say I never could get ALL the mica out of my shop sink~so I NEVER used mica again~ even with the Poly ~!!!! Bless your heart!
Hahaha! I think it's still IN THERE even though the tub looks pretty white again.
What a train wreck! Kudoz for following thru even though you knew that outcome was going to be a giant purple mess! Thanks for the video :)
Haha! Thanks for watching the giant purple mess!
You're a hoot! 😂
hahah! Thank you! 😁

A bit of dawn would help with breaking down that oil faster.

Honestly that sounds worse than having it in my tub 😂
I saw you had a cell phone holder above your table. Can you tell me where you got that? I can't find one exactly like that.

@@BathFizzFoam thank you!
Have you considered getting a spray bottle of Poly 80 and spraying before letting the water out? Just wondering.

Lmao oh noooooo 😂😂😂 gosh it’s such a bummer but I’m so glad you tested them before you sent them out 🙈
When it's measured in cups you know it's not good lol. Too variable.
Hahah. I mean I understand for a beginner recipe, but yeah it’s definitely part of why people have recipes that work one day and not another

That's awful. I would have tried Dawn or Palmolive (w/baking soda) to get that oil off. Yuck!
Yeah a couple other people suggested dawn! Thats a good suggestion! I'll use it in some future videos and we can see if it helps!

No it won’t work like that 😅… I’ve tried hahaha. Good thought though!
