I consider myself the biggest atmosphere fan and I aint even know slug was on late night television, let alone letterman!! im getting chills watching it for the first time
This is rap it sux horrible music this isn't entertainment this is untalented rip off recycled music background frontwards a jerk that doesn't kno his name not music 😅
I saw atmosphere 3 years ago in Cali, one of the best showsive ever been too, he was walking around taking to everyone and so many parents with kids where there, it was epic. A lot more energy than this. At the end he said "everyone leave!!!! I wanna scrounge around for the weed y'all dropped"
Just my opinion, but one of the few artists who performs exactly as I picture him on the songs I listen to. He seems to have a lot of character, I appreciate it. True representative of HipHop.
2008 .. simple times . ha either way, been a Huge Atmosphere fan since 2005. Its great to have seen them grow, been to 5 of their shows, always sold out, and the energy is crazy !
what do you mean "sold out " . selling out is when you change the content of your art because the people on top force you ,or you change the content to appeal to watered down pop culture .. atmosphere has done neither . going on letterman possibly got them some exposure ,but that is not a bad thing at all .
This is crazy! from meeting them at a small club in bloomington Indiana, where he personally sold his cd's to us, hung out with us like we were close friends. to letterman. This is an example of what independent hip-hop is all about.
This is my favorite song on the whole album. 'you'll never be independent' why can't Cleveland ever be represented?? i know we are shitty but seriously, we need love
I kinda over listened to atmosphere when I first got into their music but this performance made me get their new album, and I'm enjoying their music again.
There were better songs on that album. I think the reason he didn't take off was because he was trying to appeal to everyone. Yesterday or The Waitress would have been better choices.
Yesterday has a deep message but, it would not go well on Letterman, it's too sad of a song. The Waitress tells one hell of a story however I'm seeing the same issue, the message is way too depressing to put on a family oriented show. I think that Sunshine may have been a better pick, regardless he performed well and anyone who can appreciate real music enjoyed it.
Jack Rothner this is late as fuck, but I think Yesterday would have resonated like I Took a Pill in Ibiza did. It’s real. This song was way too poppy compared to his regular shit.
Why do I hear so many people say they don't feel this song? I think its one of the best from the new album! Anyway, this was a great peformance. I haven't been able to catch a concert yet since "Lemons" dropped, but I'll get my chance at Street Scene soon. Much love to Slug, Ant, and POS on backup vocals. Peace.
lol I know twin cities represent!!! I went and saw them in Minneapolis(I'm from st.paul) and I was so excited I'm in love with slug all I could think about while watching him on stage was like wow your talented and I will have your children lol.
This is one of the best performances I've seen on any show, in at least 20 years. I've never seen this until today. Just Ant and Slug doing "THE FUCKING LETTERMAN SHOW" is amazing. That means there are that many minds digging into theology, psychology and anthropology.
I just wanna say.. he gave a shout out to Tucson!!!!! I went to his show in Tucson! Hells yeah! The whole album is great. Me and Dreamer are my two fav though...
South Minneapolis! What about Nokomis?:) Great to see good acts going big nationally out of our great music scene in the Twin Cities. TC Hip Hop is still alive, Woot!
Never heard of them before but saw this live a couple of nights ago and thought it killed. Checked out the studio version and it is a shame they had to censor their own lyrics for US television. Regardless, this is great and I'll be checking out more of their stuff.
@BinaryStarofShaolin Just saw him on the Minnesota tour last weekend. I doubt he has any less support. Seems like the same dude that he was back then. It was cool when he used to cover Rage songs!!! Ah... back in the day.
I irony is that Slug wearing an Obama shirt while singing this song. If he only knew that Obama would make this song a reality for more Americans than any other president in history.
i honestly dont know why any of the people that visit Atmosphere videos can care about anything about the music. Thats all there is, great music from great artists, it's as simple as that.
@lilweezy1984 hey man i wanna know what kinda hot shit you re listenin too, i like atmosphere but if you dont get down with it then i wont play it anymore. what music do you suggest? i heard aaron carter might do another cd?
I consider myself the biggest atmosphere fan and I aint even know slug was on late night television, let alone letterman!! im getting chills watching it for the first time
Shiii were you in his .05% top listeners last year
@@bennett7658 no because a lot of what I listen to is sad clown or tracks that aren't on Spotify, life sucks die, snuggle etc..
@@MrJafetmejia I'm blessed and cursed with spotify premium. I never use anything besides it even though ik theres a lot more im missing out on
This is rap it sux horrible music this isn't entertainment this is untalented rip off recycled music background frontwards a jerk that doesn't kno his name not music 😅

u know , this is one of the greatest lives i've heard. good vibe, great singing, great all together, no loss of joy while listening this.
This is definitely one of my favorite songs. I'm a server so this makes complete sense to me.

Just my opinion, but one of the few artists who performs exactly as I picture him on the songs I listen to. He seems to have a lot of character, I appreciate it. True representative of HipHop.

well they're still "selling out" theaters all over the country :)
This is crazy! from meeting them at a small club in bloomington Indiana, where he personally sold his cd's to us, hung out with us like we were close friends. to letterman. This is an example of what independent hip-hop is all about.
Atmosphere are so cool, good live too!
This is my favorite song on the whole album. 'you'll never be independent' why can't Cleveland ever be represented?? i know we are shitty but seriously, we need love

2:50 SOUTH MINNESAPOLIS!!!!
That part gives me goose bumps.
hooray for atmosphere on david letterman!!
There were better songs on that album. I think the reason he didn't take off was because he was trying to appeal to everyone. Yesterday or The Waitress would have been better choices.

MrWiggly I agree this is the only song of there's I don't like but the album was amazing
Both of them are very good choices, but this was the "poppiest" song on the album. It has the BPMs that the masses seems to relate to... 110-120.
This was their single that made it to radio at the time. Also it’s the most up-tempo song on the album which is what people want.
Shout-outs to Albuquerque and Santa Fe in one performance. Much appreciation from NM.
POS !! LOVE IT!!!
Why do I hear so many people say they don't feel this song? I think its one of the best from the new album! Anyway, this was a great peformance. Cos he loves giving shout outs to the midwest since he's from Minnesota
This is one of the best performances I've seen on any show, in at least 20 years. I've never seen this until today. Just Ant and Slug doing "THE FUCKING LETTERMAN SHOW" is amazing. That means there are that many minds digging into theology, psychology and anthropology.
atmosphere needs to BLOW the hell up. I love his stuff.
This is the only video I've seen of Ant NOT smoking! :)
I love watching Ant in the background!
I just wanna say.. he gave a shout out to Tucson!!!!! I went to his show in Tucson! Hells yeah! The whole album is great. Me and Dreamer are my two fav though...
awesome!! he's still going strong!
South Minneapolis! What about Nokomis?:) Great to see good acts going big nationally out of our great music scene in the Twin Cities. TC Hip Hop is still alive, Woot!

POS! thats awesome! he looks so young ;)
I'm happy to see Ant. He's always calm, it makes for a great partnership with slug.
Damn. Dope.
Love the fact that he brought back up singers.
Perfection.
Couldn't agree more, and tell me if you find one of those shirts. It will be an easier way to break it to friends that I'm moving across an ocean.
Wow !
