- In today's Farming Simulator 17 time lapse video, which is set in Sandy Bay in Devon, in the South West of the UK-
We're arrived in Sandy Bay! After a quick tour of the farm, we're going to settle in for the first night, then in the morning, we hit the ground running. We've got several fields to harvest, we'll get some ploughing started and we can also start trying to decide what to spend all of our money on!

And you don't always have to fold in the hopper topper every single time you move the combine from one field to the next unless there are height restrictions like a bridge. But great start to the series, keep up the great work.
well except for the fact that it would be illegal to go on the road with them open because of the height restrctions

Would you use the Seasons mod or "normal" farming?

Why there are no seasons there?
Pigs are very slow with seasons, and some people prefer it without, so this playthrough won't use it, probably use it in the next map though
Can you please work like seasons by harvesting together and planting together ect.

Heyy frith i really liked the series but i think if you move to an established fram you should also turn the hours on the mashienes up.

it was nice Downland with seasons but I think it will be ok to NOT use seasons here
I also think you shouldn't sell the second combine harvester as some of the fields are large

Pleas advance more into potatoes as on the long run( after 1 year) it is the crop that makes you the most money on easy mode about 30.000 per hactare

I really don´t like that there are no seasons but I think that is because with the pigs the only thing you do is care for the crops, In dowland he had cows so he could make hay and silage all in the late spring and all summer

Which music did you want? I try to vary it, mostly it's what is on NCS channel, so if there is any in particular you want let me know :)
You really need to do potatoes or sugar beat because theres heaps of that going on in the south of england. However, it might be best to have a "contractor" do it for you because you only need potatoes for your pigs not for selling so you dont need to buy your own kit

Just posting this here to see if anyone can help but i have installed the fliegl autoload trailer from the link above and even though it says it is installed on my mods page, there isn't an option to select it when starting up my career save game, any suggestions as to what the issue may be??

Frithgar can you use seasons for the timelpases please. I think it would work really well
Not using it for this series as some people prefer it without and as I'm only doing pigs and crops, there would be huge chunks of the year with very little to do. I will most likely be using seasons on the next one though

Since this is a deere and massey farm, you should change one of the massey harvesters in to a deere

Invest in potatoes harvesters and only use two harvesters in the “big” fields
um you ever eat something other then eggs its just like gold crest and rsv try pork chops
Why is Sandy Bay such a holy grail map? There seems to be a lot better ones out there.
I think partly because it really was one of the best in FS15, it was converted really early on in FS17 and was one of the first mod maps for console. It's also still one of the best for console and is relatively bug free (if you avoid the fields to the far south). Yes, there are a lot of other excellent maps now, however this one is familiar and so sentimental value plays on it a lot as well.

So while folk are asking about seasons I instead wonder would the old pressure wash before parking routine be too much faffing about? Wouldn't want mud or dust clumps messing with the machines / tools
