Very nice! I have the Tamiya F104. Will this body be a good fit for it as well? Also, where did you get the tires and wheels? Thanks!

The wheels and tires are actually F-104. Bought them on Ebay.
The chassis has a shorter wheelbase (240mm) than the original F103/F104. The reason is that the original Porsche 917 had 2400mm wheelbase.
There are bodies on the market for 260mm wheelbase, but compared to the original 917 they look a bit "streched".
This is why I made my own 917 mold and vacuum formed the body "do it yourself"- style.
Regarding the adjustments of the chassis, the front arms and servo have been repositioned by cutting and drilling additional holes in the chassis plate.

What kind of sky blue paint did you use? Brand?

Hobbynox Polycarbonate Color. But I mixed additional "white" into "blue sky" before airbrushing

Where can I find the plans in 1/10 scale so I can make my own

I use 3-view blueprints from Google. I print them with the width corresponding to the chassis I'm using. That's all...

I made the body myself by building a mold and then vacuum forming.
