Chris Oakes. If that works for you, then good. For many it’s not so easy. I am starting to think the phrase law of attraction is kind of fake. Even Bob himself says in a recent interview that The Secret confuses a lot of people. A lot of this stuff comes from Hill’s work. You know right, Bob been reading and reading mostly from that book. There is little of law of attraction in Hill’s work in my opinion. I would say it’s much more than that. A feeling, or whatever. Hill wrote some good stuff but you have to question his stuff too. If it works great for you, good. But Hill was an organiser of the philosophy. He started no successful business.

I have Napoleon Hills book over 10 years, Just collecting dust. Few weeks ago I started watching Bob Proctors videos and he mentions Think and Grow Rich and had goose bumps. I immediately started reading the book and noticed I had attempted reading it before b/c there were highlights marked. The only difference is, I am ready today! Buy the book, read it, and act on his words. It is not hard, just requires ACTION and CHANGE!
Don't focus on Bob, the Man. Focus on what his Universal message is. He speaks truth. Most at his level of financial success realize how few will actually embody this message. They are looking for a Daddy, a guru to lead them out of darkness instead of actually doing the real work of change. Whatever his intentions are as an individual does not diminish the message. If you want to be a light then be one. Stop worrying about whether or not he is a "money wolf". Do YOUR thing and be great!
If I had to sum up these "teachings" of Napoleon Hill, they would be as such: 1) Change your attitude. Be positive in your attitude and mindset. 2) Conquer your fears and doubts. 3) Figure out what you actually want. Really, what precisely do you want? I bet most cannot give a precise answer to this. 4) What can you do and are willing to do to help others? 5) Act. This ties into 2 as most people fail to act when they have fears and doubts. Just get up and do something. It may be scary but you will make it. Failure happens. When it does, learn from your mistakes and proceed forth. To sum it up even simpler: 1) Be of positive mind. 2) Figure out precisely what you want and focus on this many times a day. 3) Help others. 4) Get off yer bum and act.

Just started reading think and grow rich. Very motivating and powerful book. Only on the sixth chapter, but my mental processes have already started seeking opportunities rather than roadblocks.
The instructions were to... 1) Decide what you want 2) Write it down on a card 3) Carry it with you 4) Read it over as often as you can You should probably take some action though, otherwise nothing is going to happen...don't know if he said that as well.
Man u do it every day within little things. All you gotta do is HEAR the THOUGHT -the THOUGHT grows into a IDEA( they are two different things) the IDEA comes with a VISION and an ORGANIZING step by step process to bring it into reality. All u have to do is complete the steps.This is where faith and believe comes in. U MUST BELIEVE IN IT AND HAVE FAITH IN GOD b/c you never took those steps before. o dear. I have not heard of BOB P. But have read and practiced the Napolean Hill's book he mentioned while in my 30s .... powerful. I have shared with my two girls when they were in their early teens. I am in my 50s(retired) and my children in their early 30s ..... they have great careers & financial freedom. Please read the book and practice techniques taught. All the best.
Is there a better dressed human being than Mr Proctor, I love the way he presents himself, such a positive and helpful person. who has dedicated his life to helping others become successful.
People have different reactions to this , based on where they are in life. People on the track of wanting improvement will be inspired, those who have given up will resent it, those that want it but dont believe it will get to decide which way they align. Personally i have used his methods and succeeded, its not a formula per se, its an attitude.
+Methemo Globin It works mostly for people who are held back by being overwhelmed with different influences, lifestyles, opinions, etc. A lot of people lack motivation because they're trapped within groups of people and lifestyles which they do not identify with, but were born amidst. A lot of talented people, or simply people with an overachieving mentality, are surrounded by people who already feel comfortable enough where they are. It's quite common for people over a certain age (close to 30 and above) to be already in a situation where they have a decent job and a decent love partner. If you, for whatever reason, do not find yourself fulfilled, and you're surrounded by people like this (which is most), their advice will be holding you back. Also, most of their advice is not advice, but simply praising themselves, patting their selves on the back, reassuring that they are successful enough. It's the same thing as being fit, muscular, having six packs. Most people CAN do it, but most people simply do not. Most people have mediocre physiques, and many of them will talk about those who have it, or aim to have it, in a somewhat demeaning manner, highlighting how too much concern with physical appearance is superfluous, narcissistic, a waste of time that could be used more wisely, etc. But the fact is all of these people do have the potential to look better and stronger, they simply don't want, for different reasons. It's the same with everything else. My point is, doesn't matter which self help guru you follow, if what is holding you back is the "average" mentality, and not your own competency, genetics, skills, etc. The thing is, self help will not be effective to most, because most people have a combination of "defects"in terms of skills, practical knowledge, genetic composition, etc.

It is wonderful to hear Bob Proctor's words. He thought about the destiny he wanted daily, then went after it. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill taught him to do this. This gives me inspiration to move on. I am doing things my way what I know of the least for many times and I have come to achieve them even in the most simple best I can. I saw the improvement in me.
When u wake up. A thought comes to ya mind brush ya teeth ( in the beginning was the word) Then the idea comes with the steps.( Get up , get a toothbrush, get water, and brush away) You accomplish that goal with ease bc you KNOW thats how its done- u dnt need faith or believe for that thought bc you KNOW FOR A FACT thats how its done. Great video, I believe in the power of his system. everything is energy, we are energy, what we think of as who we are, is a bunch of learned patterns and habits. All we need to do is to change the patterns that are not working. Well it's not that easy but it can be done.
He has so helped to explain what is happening in our mind in a tangible way that we can use daily. His teachings have changed so many lives. If it weren't for him I would still be reading without much understanding; now I can share that with others who are also looking to make changes in their lives.

Bob, I love you. The secret is not writing what you want on a piece of paper and reading it daily. Well, not just that. It is one way the secret may be accessed. The secret is not a secret he tells you. Over and over he emphasized the secret is simply the ability to control your subconscious mind as opposed to having it control you. I would advise all to watch the video series he made called the master key to success. It's available on Amazon prime video. It's highly insightful and will clarify if you still need clarity, and it seems most do.

If you like Think and Grow Rich, try the Abraham Hicks books. I have read Ask and It is Given and The Vortex, and also ordered Money and the Law of Attraction. Essentially the same 'secret' but updated to our time, and focusing more on spiritual wealth, material wealth being secondary/bonuses. Those books, in addition to the Eckhart Tolle books, have been life changing for me. Liberating. Inspiring. I now know how to be at peace in any moment, in any situation, and to be, do and have anything.

Success is for those who refuse to take no for an answer and will do what it takes to get there. The sad part is that success won't apply to everyone because many lack motivation.

Like Brian Tracy better. But I do think Think and Grow Rich is a good book. Another thing that helped me was a Mastermind Group which is part of Hill's formula. My goal is to have a million dollars by 2018. I've tried a few ideas and have failed but I'm still trying and still getting closer to that one great idea that will make me rich.
Can you please explain to me how mere positive thinking will make us successful? In my opinion, Bob Proctor is negating all the other variables that contribute to an individual's success, such as familial connections, mental capacity, and environment.
His message (which is given at 3.20) gets lost because he talks so much. Here is what you must do in a nutshell.. 1) Decide what you want 2) Write it down on a card 3) Carry it with you 4) Read it last thing at night and first thing in the morning and as often as you can during the day. 5) Take action towards your goal. For example, you wont get better grades if you don not increase the amount of study you do, or get fitter if you do not exercise, or if your goal is to own your own home, save for the deposit for a mortgage. The writing and reading of the goal keeps in the forefront of your mind, but that is useless and is only day-dreaming if you do not take action.
it effects more than you think it is not a "new age" technique. its as old as the universe itself. ancient and current "bushmen" and spiritual cultures and individuals have always practiced this, but they wont call it LOA, and they wont use it the same way perhaps we would.

Just started reading think and grow rich. Very motivating and powerful book. Only on the sixth chapter, but my mental processes have already started seeking opportunities rather than roadblocks.
I love how direct yet modest that way Bob explains things.
The instructions were to...
1) Decide what you want
2) Write it down on a card
3) Carry it with you
4) Read it over as often as you can
You should probably take some action though, otherwise nothing is going to happen...don't know if he said that as well.

Man u do it every day within little things. All you gotta do is HEAR the THOUGHT -the THOUGHT grows into a IDEA( they are two different things) the IDEA comes with a VISION and an ORGANIZING step by step process to bring it into reality. All u have to do is complete the steps.This is where faith and believe comes in. U MUST BELIEVE IN IT AND HAVE FAITH IN GOD b/c you never took those steps before. o dear. I have not heard of BOB P. But have read and practiced the Napolean Hill's book he mentioned while in my 30s .... powerful. I have shared with my two girls when they were in their early teens.
I am in my 50s(retired) and my children in their early 30s ..... they have great careers & financial freedom.

People have different reactions to this , based on where they are in life. People on the track of wanting improvement will be inspired, those who have given up will resent it, those that want it but dont believe it will get to decide which way they align. Personally i have used his methods and succeeded, its not a formula per se, its an attitude.
+Methemo Globin It works mostly for people who are held back by being overwhelmed with different influences, lifestyles, opinions, etc. A lot of people lack motivation because they're trapped within groups of people and lifestyles which they do not identify with, but were born amidst. A lot of talented people, or simply people with an overachieving mentality, are surrounded by people who already feel comfortable enough where they are. It's quite common for people over a certain age (close to 30 and above) to be already in a situation where they have a decent job and a decent love partner. If you, for whatever reason, do not find yourself fulfilled, and you're surrounded by people like this (which is most), their advice will be holding you back. Also, most of their advice is not advice, but simply praising themselves, patting their selves on the back, reassuring that they are successful enough. It's the same thing as being fit, muscular, having six packs. Most people CAN do it, but most people simply do not. Most people have mediocre physiques, and many of them will talk about those who have it, or aim to have it, in a somewhat demeaning manner, highlighting how too much concern with physical appearance is superfluous, narcissistic, a waste of time that could be used more wisely, etc. But the fact is all of these people do have the potential to look better and stronger, they simply don't want, for different reasons. It's the same with everything else. My point is, doesn't matter which self help guru you follow, if what is holding you back is the "average" mentality, and not your own competency, genetics, skills, etc. The thing is, self help will not be effective to most, because most people have a combination of "defects"in terms of skills, practical knowledge, genetic composition, etc.

Bob, I love you. The secret is not writing what you want on a piece of paper and reading it daily. Well, not just that. It is one way the secret may be accessed. The secret is not a secret he tells you. Over and over he emphasized the secret is simply the ability to control your subconscious mind as opposed to having it control you. I would advise all to watch the video series he made called the master key to success. It's available on Amazon prime video. It's highly insightful and will clarify if you still need clarity, and it seems most do.

If you like Think and Grow Rich, try the Abraham Hicks books. I have read Ask and It is Given and The Vortex, and also ordered Money and the Law of Attraction. Essentially the same 'secret' but updated to our time, and focusing more on spiritual wealth, material wealth being secondary/bonuses. Those books, in addition to the Eckhart Tolle books, have been life changing for me. Liberating. Inspiring. I now know how to be at peace in any moment, in any situation, and to be, do and have anything.

Like Brian Tracy better. But I do think Think and Grow Rich is a good book. Another thing that helped me was a Mastermind Group which is part of Hill's formula. My goal is to have a million dollars by 2018. I've tried a few ideas and have failed but I'm still trying and still getting closer to that one great idea that will make me rich.

Can you please explain to me how mere positive thinking will make us successful? In my opinion, Bob Proctor is negating all the other variables that contribute to an individual's success, such as familial connections, mental capacity, and environment.

Here is what you must do in a nutshell..
1) Decide what you want
2) Write it down on a card
3) Carry it with you
4) Read it last thing at night and first thing in the morning and as often as you can during the day.
5) Take action towards your goal.
For example, you wont get better grades if you don not increase the amount of study you do, or get fitter if you do not exercise, or if your goal is to own your own home, save for the deposit for a mortgage.
The writing and reading of the goal keeps in the forefront of your mind, but that is useless and is only day-dreaming if you do not take action.
