I think I heard this story on another channel, and it had a (sorta) update: The actual *reason* the sister is so intent on OP and her Ex getting together. Turns out, Sis has this weird idea in her head of the idea of sisters marrying brothers and her kids and OP's kids being really close as a result. This is one of the reasons Bates is so obsessed with OP, sis is filling his head with her "vision", and since he's so unstable already... Keep in mind, I'm not *sure* this is the same story, but apparently, the mom tells the dad this after sis stops supporting her.

People need to learn to forgive. To act like someone doesn’t exist is beyond cruel. Why do so many people forget that everyone makes mistakes. So quick to cut family off.
Nobody has to forgive you for your terrible actions and you should expect people to lie down & take the pain you caused them just because you’re family.
