It truly has to be up to the people, you can’t force anyone to quit, just support them the best you can without enabling them, it’s a hard balance !
    God… pray 🙏🏼 ❤

It’s a hard thing to stop if you’re being forced… you enjoy it and it’s your choice, your life
I like my wine and I see it’s a slippery slope for sure
      God Bless ❤✝️❤️

He sounded like he was slurring his words in this interview. Not sure if he "recovered" as much as he purported. Smoking and alcohol worked against him. He was the best game show host in my opinion.

Sometimes I feel like when people are forced to say
“I’m an alcoholic” just keeps them in that state of mind, if you’re recovering then shouldn’t they say something like
    “I’m a recovering alcoholic”
Or “it’s been 20 years ( whatever time it is ) since my last drink”
They’re not alcoholics if that haven’t drank …
    Just saying

Unfortuneately..Garry didn't stay with the show..he left"To Tell The Truth"as the series' second host/moderator..years later..when his doctor found cancer in Garry's throat and it had to be surgically removed.
