In this video I share some news about a monochrome camera by SvBony - SV605MC and my latest image I captured using it. I must admit that this camera performs much better than it did last year.
I will cover the banding issue this camera had and a simple way you can use to eliminate banding off your images.

Beautiful image.
What's your opinion of SVBONY?
I am impressed with how SvBony has improved their products over the past few years. Honestly, if you had told me 5-6 years ago that I would buy a 122mm APO from SvBony, I would have laughed. Well, in 2023, I bought their 122mm APO, and it is my favorite telescope now. What I like about them is that they seem to listen to their customers and feedback, making their products better. Here is an example with SV605MC camera. I bought it last year with banding issue. It has been a year, and the same camera performs much better. I didn't have to do anything but update the driver.
p.s. I apologize for my late reply!
What offset are you using?
I've used offset 80 for this project
@@AstroCreation the sv605cc in nina, allows a range from min =1 to max =100. Using cuivs method, mine is set to 5. If you mono camera is similar maybe the banding is due to a too high off set? Your images look great btw so probably not this :)
@jesuschrist2284 I’ve set the offset on my 2600mc using Cuiv’s method in NINA, but I haven’t played with SV605MC and offset yet
That’s a significant discount compared to other brands. Tempting. Just have to accept not using a particular brand and not having a built in USB hub
The lack of USB is what I really had to get used to… I have no idea why they didn’t add the usb hub
