- New Wolfychu storytime video! I used to fake my voice online because I was scared of being made fun of. I've gotten a lot of comments since making my voice reveal video years back asking if my voice is real or fake, whether it's put on to sound like an anime girl character, if it's a voice changer or even if it's from helium. I get these comments both from my animated videos and from my Vtuber streams. The voice that you hear from me now is my natural voice, it's not voice acting or any kind of editing. it's just me. But here is the story of when I used to use an edited voice online.

Yeah, i did that too I literally sounded like shit. It was for a school project and I didn't want to upload it, and I wasn't allowed to use any editing software to change it. So i just ended up deleting it after it was graded, never doing it again.

Honestly, as someone with a naturally high voice, I'm glad it's starting to get accepted, but it's still hard for me to accept my own voice after years of being bullied for it.

I was just thinking one of the Vtubers I watch is the reverse of Wolfy she hide her voice with a high pitch voice cause she was scared people would think her real voice sounds too much like a tomboy and a lot of girls back when I was in highschool tried to do a high pitch voice to be cute thats Wolfy's normal voice so shes always cute

I remember back when that stupid fake voice drama was going around, she didn't directly respond or made any rash posts. She instead did a singing and chat live stream with Sweeto. And the drama died down pretty quickly after that.

I bet your voice is lovely! I had a lot of trouble coming to terms with my voice since it’s high pitched and makes me sound a lot younger than I really am but I’m growing more comfortable with it everyday. I’m sure you’ll find that confidence someday!
@@zoisite3326 Your voice could still get deeper, vocal pitch usually doesn't stabilize before the early 20s, and some people are early bloomers and some others are late bloomers. Regardless, don't be embarassed because of your voice. Many people will mock you, but people are always going to be judgemental no matter what you do and how you are, so ignore the negativity. I realize it's going to be difficult to put into practice in your teens when people are naturally more impulsive and sensitive, but remember this: most people have their own issues to deal with. They're not going to remember your embarrassing attributes when you're not around them, and the few that will are the ones who have nothing better to do or think about and therefore, do not matter in any way.

exactlyyyyy, i find her voice very mature, it's just high-pitched. it's not really child-like so i never rly questioned her age.

I honestly have thought this whole entire time she was faking her voice, because I had no idea was possible for a full grown woman to have a voice at all like that. It doesn't sound like exactly like a kid's voice to me either, but this is further confirmation that a woman can have a very high voice. I used to think it was unrealistic for anime characters who are female to have this type of voice, but now I realize some women just have voices like that. I have a voice that I actually had people tell me that I was lying when I told him I was a woman, and they're like "bro you're 12 year old boy haha"
I honestly never mind of the fact that my voice never sounded womanly, I mean womanly in a Hollywood sense, because it definitely sounds womanly, but just I don't sound like you're starting a typical attractive female rom-com protagonist.

I used to live with some people and one of them was a 55 yr old woman who sounded like a 10 yr old. None of us batted an eye because it was normal. But it was funny as heck when she would cuss out the telemarketers.
My grandma is just the same. People on the phone sometimes thought she was a young girl around 16 maybe, but she's like 80 now lol.

I'm so glad you're able to be comfortable with who you are and your voice. My voice is a struggle for me, being a transgender girl (current name doesn't reflect that, sadly). Hearing your story as well as others really helps me become more confident in my voice and in my content creation because, at the end of the day, it's not the voice that matters so much as the personality behind the voice. This makes me feel more comfortable with my voice, because I’ve always been embarrassed of my voice being abnormally low. It’s nice to now I’m not the only one who’s ever been uncomfortable with the pitch of my voice :3

I find people with unique voice patterns really interesting, especially with how many variations I have come across already! Some, like yours Wolfychu, are soft and soothing to hear. While others can invoke a sense of thrill. It's amazing what voices can do! I hope you continue to show confidence in your voice, it really is beautiful!❤
This reminds me of how Jackspeticeye would put on a fake American accent early on but when he learned to be confident in his own speaking voice people thought his real accent was fake.

I was initially surprised that it was your real voice, I'd never heard a voice like that before except in anime, not even children have ever sounded like that so I figured it was fake for fun, but it was a real voice and I was like "how does that happen? why is it so anime pitched?". But, you're a genuine person, you're sincere in everything you do, and because of that you get all the support you need to overcome any obstacle, and we're proud of you and want the best for you in all you do :)

Because it's fake and/or exaggerated. I know girls with super high pitched voices, and they don't sound like anime children. Voice actors do this voice all of the time.
