Hi and Namastey!!
It is solo hike and the name Sundarijal was derived from the term "Sundari", which means beautiful and "Jal", which means water. The river Bagmati, which originates in this region, has been the major source of water supply for Kathmandu valley.There is also a Hindu goddess, Sundarimai a temple dedicated to this name.. It is lying approximately at the altitude of 2000m above the sea level. Its around 16 km and 45 Minutes distance from the Chabahil.
सुन्दरीजल र ओखरेनी नेपालमा अवस्थित दुई सुन्दर स्थानहरू हुन्। सुन्दरीजल काठमाडौँको उत्तरपूर्वमा रहेको एक पर्यटकीय स्थल हो, जहाँ झरना, नदी, र हरियो जंगलको मनमोहक दृश्य पाइन्छ। यो स्थल शिवपुरी नागार्जुन राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्जको प्रवेशद्वारका रूपमा पनि परिचित छ।
