Hello! I think there is a misspelling: "I strongly object" instead of "I strong object". Thank you so much for the video. It has helped me hugely, really! :)
It is good to see videos like this on the internet - however, there are a number of errors that should not be copied by students, including no introduction such as Dear...., a typo "I strong object", the use of "yours faithfully when it should be "yours sincerely" because the letter is addressed to someone by name, and the strange use of the word "plead" for a formal letter to the council.

Hi, very nice ,clear writing and clear talking that I understood all of letter. If you don't mind please share your writing about( reports , blog, article and narrative ) please.
Hello Sir, i have got a question related to functional writing saying "a bike ride" or "use of english while apologizing and expressing gratitude ."Apart from this nothing is mentioned in the sample paper whether it is paragraph writing , report writing or letter? So how should i interpret and write??
the date is missing and to whom you address the letter plus there is another little mistake "cut down which will" instead of "will which" and sincerely at the end as you know the name of the person. It was really helpful this video anyway. Thank you.
Thank you for share the wonderful writing paragraph. I’m learning from you. One thing I will say you don’t write the date & Dear as well. Could you send to me feedback. Again thank you 🙏
It would start with Dear Ms Stevens and end in Yours Sincerely because you know the name and the date would also be top right with your address. If it was Dear Sir/Madam it would end in Yours Faithfully. 👌
Hi Lizzy Good point and thank you for sharing. Please note that this is the old version of the exam. Please watch the recent version. If you need to take the functional skills exam, you can book it from www.intechcentre.com All the best
Hello would it be much okay if I write dear madam/ sir and still yours faithfully? Or just "sincerely" and then name on the bottom? I'm still unsure and quite confused regarding disclosing formal letter, what it should be?

you write faithfully when you don't know the name of the person so you should write sincerely instead faithfully
Nope man he's right
Although you know the name of the person, you still would use yours faithfully unless you know the person well.
@@showmethemoney9168 Wrong Lee. It's 'Yours Sincerely' if you know their name. It's 'Yours faithfully' if you don't have a name to use.
