I feel like the best way to have added on to the fake HoP story would have been to say 'They said there was some kind of monster spider lurking in Maintenance and they wanted to try killing it with the sticks rather then send Sec in to get themselves killed.'
I would've suggested that the person tricking Smells knew they were blind and just used a chameleon mask and an agent ID while staying at least one tile away from them.
I wonder if you had been playing Petunia instead of Smells-The-Roses, if security would have been a bit harsher on you. Nobody really wants to harm a blind lizard botanist with such a peaceful name.
@@darkohgrubb17 VERY complicated, even veterans still learn things. But it's not a steep learning curve, theres just alot. Especially when it comes to... well any science or medical thing, hell, even botany lol. Just gotta be able to somewhat rp depending on the server lol.
That makes me want to try and play blind, being able to at least see runechat. Next step would be to also be being able to see the visual effects of things like punches to act as a sixth sense (only if you're blind from the very beginning though)
"in custody" only checks that you are standing on the red sec tiles of the shuttle, so even if you're in cuffs as long as you're not in the shuttle brig (for example, being in a pod) you won't be in custody

I was having with the objective to live so I broke into RD's office and blew all the borgs up seconds before they started doing their thing... little did I know malf borgs explode way more violently than normal ones so everyone got VERY alarmed and I couldn't slip away. After detaining and torturing me on both the femur breaker and in the cryo tube via OD I managed to escape with wormholes, got irradiated, went on a whole rat race to run away from those who were everything but security officers, found refuge in the chapel and decided to live the rest of my life as a man of religion after my chasers were answered and the officers got gibbed by a higher power.

I'm not the most informed spaceman when it comes to botany. is there any particular reason tea leaves and flowers were used? My guess is because they are inconspicuous, but hey, there may be some other factor I'm unaware of.
I only picked them because they looked like jungle leaves and they fit into the vietnam jungle gimmick - but it just so happened that no expected the tea leaves to be poisonous when stepped on, which worked out well

i don't think they knew per se they got hit with coniine immediately but if you a. are dealing with a botanist b. got injected with a plant c. immediately start suffocating then it's pretty clear what they got you with though they also could have had a health scanner or gotten to medbay quickly or a plethora of other things.
I need to look into SS13 again. One Discord server I was in did something some time ago and I popped in as a curious spectator. Had a chat with an admin or someone (they popped me out of spectator mode thinking I may have done so by accident) and... that's the most of my memories. From this it seems interesting.
Is like a fire work. When you first play it you get suck into it and can not stop playing it for weeks or even mouths or even a year. But then you get burn out and stop playing. Then when you get back to it. It has a lot of new stuff in it. And the pain will never end.

codephrases normally show up as a different color on tg codebases you can set any phrase you want to be highlighted (for example, your name) in the chat settings in the top right of chat
I don't understand why was objective escape without being in custody completed and green, when you were arrested and put in brig for 1 or 2 mins. Could someone explain? ?
The "escape" objective literally the following: - Are you in the brig of the emergency shuttle at the end of the round? If so, you fail. If not, you succeed.

Ya need fancy UI. You can find and Fix Chat in OOC tab. Im like 99% sure it works only for TG code base but idk. Once chat is fixed, settings (the cog top right above chat) then type what ya want to highlight. Hope this helps :P
