Obviously I don't actually KNOW anything tbh. But I would guess maybe because they are clearly considered securities, and BR and GS have absolute power over the SEC, they are encouraging people to invest in things they will (and pretty much already do) 100% control and backdoor-regulate through market share. As opposed to stuff like BTC... where they can manipulate price action to some extent, but can never gain complete control of. This imo is why they went after Mirror protocol so hard. It was a fair market for everyone, and they don't allow that..
Not to say there aren't good opportunities in RWA. Not tryin to FUD the whole video lol.
Eventually almost everything could be put on a blockchain, so a lot of these could do well. Especially stuff with super low market caps. I personally have capital in KlimaDAO and Maple Finance.
But I wouldn't overcommit to ANYTHING. Especially when there are so many other areas of Crypto available to focus on. (Gaming is gonna be massive for example)
RWA in particular just seems like it's ripe for the institutions to take complete control of. And in the end that's never good for the rest of us.
At the end of the day, if BR figures out what the absolute best investment in crypto is for the next 10 years, there is 0 chance they will just announce it publicly.

I admire the financial independence of people, But you can live better if you work a little more. After watching this I think there are people out there, on the extreme, who plan to die early just to be able to retire early. To each their own but to me retirement isn't just about not having to work, it's about having the freedom to do whatever you might reasonably want, such as travel, buying things, enjoying life, etc. I don't think I could retire with less than $3m in income-generating investments, maybe $2m at the very minimum. I plan to work until I'm at least 45
Nobody knows anything, you need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin while also continuously learning from mistakes and improving
Having an investment adviser is the best way to go about the market right now, especially for near-retirees, I've been in touch with a coach for a while now mostly cause I lack the depth knowledge and mental fortitude to deal with these recurring market conditions, I netted over $220K during this dip, that made it clear there's more to the market that we avg joes don't know

Tokens are like ETFs. They take your money, charge you an arm and leg and you don't 'EVER' own the actual assets. WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WONG???
These tokenized securities will be launched on DAG DLT's like Hedera, and not on blockchains.

Hedera is only one of the DLTs that they plan to use. There’s others like Algo, XRP, ETH, XDC, IOTA, and some others

Yes, Fink did say tokenisation is a huge future use case for crypto BUT he also said we are a very long way from achieving that AND there is no guarantee whatsoever that tokenisation when it comes will use the coins mentioned - MUCH MORE LIKELY they build a permissioned system without small trader input
I don't get it because gold is currently being traded in shares and the physical gold for that backing doesn't even exist. This tokenism means nothing if the physical asset isn't real or is heavily manipulated.

It is possible to produce superior performance provided you do something different from the majority. However, most of us tend to pay more attention to the shiniest position in the market to the cost of proper diversification.
What's good about blackrock is that you know whatever they're telling the world to do is not what they're doing. They're staying BTC os crap? You're better invest in it. They're staying BTC is the future? Sell everything satoshi you own

The truth is that with this recent economy Everyone needs more than there salary to be financially stable. The best thing to do with your money is to Invest it rightly because money left for saving always end up used with no returns.

Problem is ....... look at blockchain capital..... if u put 10k in the nav now over 200k but only accredited investors can buy them.... so they sell at a discount ..... as low as only 30k for 200k nav....... so until SEC allows everyone to buy securitized tokens then it’s a stupid idea......

I suspected a few years ago that stocks would be tokenized. The plan is to move to a stakeholder economy where there will not be any ownership. A token can appreciate in value but not have any voting rights. Individual companies can create their registered token. Like a digital currency, it will also cut out the cost of middlemen. I do not know if they will use this particular token, but the founder did speak at the WEF: the token and will allow the creation of individual tokens and is transparent enough to be Regulated and monitored is XEM. They may be using this token to test their goal, then create their own or use it. Do your own research

AmFi is starting to rock RWA in Latin America. Beta user already may buy tokens from lending pools backed by multiple types of receivables, such as invoices, credit notes and litigation receivables.

This idea was my idea. This is what I've always said. And in fact this is the purpose for NFT's only the NFT's got a bad wrap due to scams.
An NFT can be a title for a property, it can be ownership rights of art, or a parking space that you rent out ECT. Growing the value of the NFT or reducing the value of the NFT depending.

Probably true for the big Wall Street money, but it still has to flow in and out of the system.
If the underlying asset is another crypto then you could verify using blockchain. Nothing is yet perfect in crypto but we should diversify and explore then advance alternative approaches.

The more of this type of information I see the more I want to own physical silver. Basically we have garbage backing garbage x 10. What is the point of being in a stock market that is guaranteed to crash 15 - 30 % this year or then proceed to buy the dips to get a paper profit that doesn't take into account the loss of purchasing power of 8 - 15 % (more in many countries). Time to protect wealth not chase it.

Sounds exactly like fiat currency that’s supposed to be backed by real world assets that actually aren’t. I don’t want a crypto backed by gold just as I don’t want a dollar backed by gold. If I own gold I want the actual tangible gold asset in my hand.

Honestly, none of that even interests me. If I was going to buy securitized bonds I would rather just use an interactive brokers account. One thing I wish could be done is to be able to use my home equity as collateral to mint DAI. I don't know how that would even work though.

Before we go to RWS, i think digital identity or proof of humanity is more important than oracles, it's crazy how we can own a land without an identity and SEC doing their crap. There are some projects focusing on these, maybe it can be your next video.
