Fact is, you are supposed to be inviting her to go with you where you are already going yourself. If she is actually interested, she will immediately try to reschedule with you. You will know if she is not interested if she did not try to reschedule, so no problem, just move on. The lack of abundant mindset is turning women off from men, and she may have sensed it in you and cancelled the date.

But this one is very common, even men do with other male friends.
