Since I need good endings to keep going, I would like to come up with a little sequel to this story. It's a bit canon-divergent from both Gold and Heart Gold and it's been a while since the last time I've read the creepypasta, so sorry for that. I'll probably edit this from time to time if I get better ideas. Btw, I loved this mod/cover! After Gold met his unlucky counterpart Lost Silver (LS is how the latter would usually call him) in an abandoned cave, the two pokemon trainers became friends. Gold would often visit him as a way to ease his suffering, but while he was glad to have someone who could listen to him, LS was still suffering from his "curse". So, the more fortunate trainer set out to find a way to help him. He looked for pokemon that could somehow improve his situation, but none seemed to be able to do anything. At least, none of the common ones. While he was looking into Jotho legends and myths, he discovered that one of the Legendary Pokemon who lived in the region, Oh-ho, was supposedly able to return life. So, during his search for information, he stumbled into a group of women, called the Kimono Girls, whose one of their duties was to homage Oh-ho, and inquired on how to ask a favour from the Legendary. He learnt that the pokemon used to perch atop the Bell Tower and the full story surrounding the legend: at the time of the fire in the now Burnt Tower, three pokemon on the verge of death, or that had already perished, were helped by Oh-oh. These were the Legendary Trio formed by Suicune, Raikou and Entei. Gold would climb the Bell Tower every single day for an entire month before, impressed by his persistence, the Kimono Girls decided to help the trainer. Oh-oh was then summoned atop the tower, and after being convinced by the boy's determination, they decided to help the lost trainer and grant Gold's wish. He was given a feather infused with the pokemon's power, before they vanished in the clouds. Enthusiastic, Gold rushed to the cave and, after explaining what happened to LS, he presented the feather. It glowed with an iridescent light, until it started floating towards the mirror and, after the entire cave lit up, LS had almost no trace of what had happened. His eyes were red instead of golden and had grayish scars under them, his limbs were reformed but still had dark scars, but he was alive. His Cyndaquil and Celebi were now healthy, although they also had visible marks of what had happened. With his universe already unhabitable, LS, who will later change his name to Ethan, moved into his friend's reality and, albeit scarred by his time as a corpse, and a weird connection with unowns, was able to live a fairly normal and happy life with his friend. (it isn't my native language either, i speak spanish) I LOVED ITT!!, love the idea of the scars still being on them, i love the determination of Ethan/Gold (he would do all that, totally 🫶🫶), and the feather thingy is so creative!! really good lore! i like it lots :3

Also I wasn't sure if I should've used Oh-ho or Arceus because, in the manga, Gold also meets the pokemon god, but I thought that the fire bird was easier to reach
