Hello Dee and Jay, my husband and I have just watched this entire series because we will be doing this itinerary in reverse at the end of the month. We really enjoyed your videos; gave us a good idea of what to expect. We were on the Spirit in October 2018, so we are looking forward to seeing all the changes. Dee, your photos are amazing, my husband is very envious of whatever lenses you are using! Wishing you all the best from Ottawa, Canada!
Your vlogs are high quality and I love that you know what to expect. They look like you spent a lot of time and they are my favorites. Well your Western part of your 8o days or almost over, but watch an adventure to all those places you haven’t yet. I can’t wait !!
The last day and night are always sad, having to pack is the worst. Glad you had a good day. So many whales, that's always amazing to see. Stef laughing when you said you got her cheese with the pretzel bites. 😆. Really enjoyed this trip. Looking Forward to your next adventure. ❤
Hey Jay & Dee. Great cruise for sure. Jay when you said "don't be a moron" referring to the sign to not burn yourself it reminded me of (and it also does EVERY time I get in a cruise shower) of a cartoon they used to show in elementary school that said "Don't be a Nitwit" referring to check the water temp before getting in the shower. It was accompanied by a cartoon character in the shower with a fire engine red posterior!
Aww Marks and Spencer’s is my Fav!! I used to go into town (Glasgow) with my Auntie to go to the shops when I was visiting home!! God I miss my Family!!
Sean passed away from pancreatic cancer in March 2021. Part of their channel deals with their cancer journey together, then her grief journey after his passing.
They would only do it twice a year, usually before a ship starts the Alaska season (April-ish northbound) and when they end the Alaska season (October-ish southbound). Not sure if it would always be on NCL Spirit necessarily though!! :P
Your vlogs may be over, but Ben & David and Stef are still posting so we get to keep on seeing it from different perspectives. It's fun. They are both still posting Hawaii vlogs. I can't wait for Stef's video of the helicopter adventure.
@@parodeejay thanks for the information. Another question for you…what is the earliest that you recommend for a flight out of Vancouver if the ship gets in at 7:30am? Can’t wait to see your next adventure!
It's about a 30-40 minute ride from the cruise port to the airport, so assuming you can get off the ship among the first folks off and be processed by 8:00am or 8:30am, ride to the airport, and still allow a minimum of two hours before the flight, 11:00am might be the earliest we'd be comfortable with, I'd say. And that could still be a bit of a nervous rush, ha ha... :P
Carnival Venezia is our next cruise, yes... but we've got our NCL Prima to Iceland and our Regal Princess around the British Isles to post before our Carnival Venezia series!! :D
@@parodeejay ok thank you I love watching all of them! We will e getting on the ship the day you get off. 🎉 I will keep checking to see if you do a Live stream
I typically won't repeat a sock until I cycle through nearly every sock I own, then start the cycle over. However, this mega-trip is 81 days long, and there's no way I could pack 81 pairs of socks, so I think I brought about 20 pairs to cycle around and around over the course of the seven cruises in this trip!! :P ~Jay
Super Duper Vlogs this entire journey! You guys did an awesome job with producing vlogs in wharp speed, fun and knowledgeable content and shenanigans with Ben and David and Sean and Stef…love how you all respect each others space and still had time for fun! Dee’s photos wonderful as well. Thanks for sharing your amazing journey with us. Hubs and I call you all “constant reliables” Bc your vlogs are never far off from your latest adventures. Thank you again.😊

It was a great cruse, I had the opportunity to be on this sailing. It was wonderful. Got to say hello in volcano national park parking. 🤣
Always sad to see a series end but looking forward to the next one!

that last evening of a cruise is always an awful feeling for me. it always feels like some melancholy has settled on the ship.
Oh noooo Dee the blue cheese and onions i would love on my salad. Thx for the series🚢😊
Nice rewarding moment after listening to shower chat, I said to myself "sounds like around an 8.3"
Definitely a neat itinerary. Where was Sean on this cruise?
Sean passed away from pancreatic cancer in March 2021. Part of their channel deals with their cancer journey together, then her grief journey after his passing.
Loved this itinerary, but I don’t see it offered by NCL in the future😢? Any insight on this??
They would only do it twice a year, usually before a ship starts the Alaska season (April-ish northbound) and when they end the Alaska season (October-ish southbound). Not sure if it would always be on NCL Spirit necessarily though!! :P
When you went from Hawaii to mainland did you have rough waters?
Our crossing wasn’t bad at all, but we heard some folks that were about two days ahead of us had an awful crossing!!

I saw that Jay and Dee were traveling with Ben and David whom I already follow. What channel is Sean and Stephanie with?
Sean & Stef!! :D
I dwfinately want to do this one as long as I can fly with my wheelchair.
How did you guys get from the Vancouver port to the airport? Sky train, taxi, or cruise line transfer?
We snagged an UberLyft, though there might have been some more affordable ways to get there, hah... :P

We haven’t yet!! :D

How often do you repeat a sock...OR do you guarantee a different sock every episode? 😉🙃

Don't Say Canadian C***K to Ben ROFL🤣
Between this series and a couple of others, it sounds like NCL’s food game is lacking tremendously.
