If you are not aware, James passed away 2 years ago , We all miss him so much, but his Videos give us all a lot of comfort. Rest In Peace little brother, we miss you xxxx
I was there from 1967 to 1970 and expected to see a lot of changes. Looks just the same. Drones really open up a new and interesting perspective. Great video.
Went to this (boys) school May 14th 1979 until the summer holidays, following a house move at short notice. Basically hated it, I was a right billy-no-mates, but I remember how sunny the outlook was somehow, and managing to skive off two lessons every week without being caught. I was the only one allowed to use the turning machine in woodwork and can remember going off the Shelthorpe golf course for the games lesson once a week with a lad called David Adams. Mr Weston was my form teacher and I think the Art teacher. Would love a look round inside the school again although it sounds a bit odd, I went back there in 2019, exactly 40 years to the minute I arrived there in '79 as a very anxious 13 year old. Memories are weird things.......
Hi all glad you like the footage ! Probably 40% of locals passed though this school it’s links mutilple generations ! Enjoy. Click on the purple icon (next to this comment) and check out part 2
Loughborough College School waited all those years to leave those ramshackle buildings in the town to move to the New School now look at it, what a shame!!
