Thanks for the heads up on your free indicators. The listing of Indicators at the top my charts has been a pain in the butt since I started using Ninja. Your Remove Label fix works perfectly. I've always wondered why a platform as sophisticated as Ninja did not provide a simple button to hide the Indicators Listing such as exists in Trading View. Yours solves that problem.
Have you got any tips to set up text alerts to work on ninja trader 8 ? I've tried a few configurations but no success.

Hi, perfect video. I wanted to ask. He wouldn't know about some timer that would appear on every chart in the background and in big font. Something similar to what is in the video called ES, but counting down the time. I have a bar timer indicator set, but it is in very small font. Thanks for your help, Pavel
Hey I am new to NinjaTrader and have just started a top step challenge, I have everything setup properly but every time I try to start a strategy I keep getting an error with the sync, it starts out good but after the first trade it goes to false. Any help you could provide would be wonderful!
I prefer Trading View in almost every aspect for charting.

Thanks so much for your videos - I just found you recently ---- I wanted to know - do you know how to have both a LONG and SHORT on at the same time?
I trade a BREAKOUT strategy --- normally I can put them on at the same time (I have recorded videos of it) but I recently closed my charts out and when I tried to put it on today - it wouldn't allow both at the same time... I put my long on but couldn't do my short which made me lose out on the 150 pt move this morning for PPI that went to the short side.
If you already have a video that would be great too - any help would be appreciated.
LOL... I figured it out... A simple right-click in the grey area under ATM and click OCO... lol so easy

Just like data series you can click the indicator and then drag them on top of each other.

NinjaTrader is setup to really only work with their NinjaTrader brokerage / clearing at this point.

I really like the box candle overlay of 30m tf over a 1m tf for example, however, I am unable to figure out how to adjust the opacity. I do not have that option as you do in your video. Anyone know how to resolve this?

If ninja traders rejects an account how long does one have to wait before they can reapply.
I imported your Multiperiod Candle Indicator. However, after doing so I can't find it in the indicator list. Can you help me out with that?
I know it was imported successfully. Because, when I restart ninjatrader and attempt to import it a second time I get a message asking if I want to override it.
It's a bar type so go into the data series settings and change it from candle.

Hi. I have a question about ninjatrader. I have my chart saved in templates. Everytime I open ninjatrader I have to click load & open the template to get my chart up. Is there a way to have my chart as one of the preset charts that automatically open when you start up ninjatrader? Thanks.
Are you setting up the preset by using the preset buttons at the bottom of the data series settings window?

@@paulmorgan8426 What charts and other windows you have open can be saved to workspaces. When you shut down it should ask if you want to save the workspace. When Ninja restarts it should open the last workspace you had.
Also you don't have to send friend requests on discord. Just send the message with your questions.

Can you help with a ninja script i would like to make.. it combines rsi and macd to help show reversals.. i have it made for think or swim bit would like to convert to ninja trader.

Do you code auto entrance models in Ninja using renko bars? if so what is your fee
Renko bars repaint, and basically allow the backtester to cheat. I would not recommend making them part of an automated strategy.

Funny was really hoping this video would have the answer I been looking for, for months 😪 but nope. Not one video on TH-cam with answer oh well. How do you get the amount your up or down to show at entry line instead of the points for example. 25, .5, .75, 1 I have seen tons of trade videos showing the amount instead but not one person tells you how to change it.
turn chart trader on and adjust it on the charttrader and the line will show what u want
Right click inside the box showing 0.25, 0.5 etc , Click on Properties , Under General , change PnL display unit "currency" ...

After installing you need to restart ninjatrader before it will show up as a chart style in the data series window.
Actually it’s being removed by windows defender as virus the next moment it’s downloaded.

@@santhoshbakthavatchalam8478 Right click on the chart and select Data Series. It will show up as a new chart style, but you may need to restart ninjatrader first for it to show up.
I can’t get over how antiquated ninja trader is compared to trade station and think or swim not even close
Trading is pretty much basic. Unless you're looking for a Xmas tree appearance, basic works for most people.

Being forced to use NT8 with so many prop firms sucks. I don't think ninjatrader even has VWAP lol.
VWAP is a part of licensed version of NinjaTrader. Not that it's hard to make your own.
