The best way I’ve found to hard boil an egg is to set your eggs in an empty pot and fill with water till it covers the eggs and put on high to bring to a boil then shut off the stove and cover the pot and let it sit for 11 minutes then place the eggs in an ice bath for just a bit!!
I do this same exact thing!
If you don’t like tomatoes much and you want to add them to a salad, cut them into smaller pieces and toss them in a little salt before adding them! Salt really helps bring out their flavor more since they’re so watery in flavor! 😊 My husband who was a chef always tells me to salt tomatoes before I add them to any dish and it makes a world difference!! 😂💕

hey ava! for hard boiled eggs I boil the water first then put the eggs in for ten minutes and works like a charm every time :) i’m sure you’ve already found another recipe for it next time but wanted to share!

She's also allergic to dogs and let's herself have the reaction instead of taking something to prevent it.
@mary.1984 she hasn't been able to have a dog live with her and doesn't own one rn so why would she always have that on hand?
I think the fear of the dark thing is something primal and I can totally relate, maybe getting a dog will also help with that so you feel more at home at your house ❤

🥑Confession I too am afraid of the dark 😅 and truth be told it was a question I had for you- how are you coping with being alone in a bigger space? When I first moved out of my mom’s home, I bought night lights to put in the hallway. I still have them 😂- no shame here! Also, having Koda sleep over is a genius idea to help you adapt to your new space while you are alone.

Perfect boiled egg: eggs and water to cover in a pot. Pot on high heat. Bring to boil, boil 5 minutes. Cover pot, remove from heat. Sit for 5 minutes. Pour off hot water, give pot a gentle shake to crack shells. Run cold water into pot to cool eggs. When cool enough to handle peel eggs. Perfect every time
eggs genuinely take 7 - 10 mins to be hard boiled on medium heat
