What version of Photoshop are U using for this tutorial??
Hey I tried this technique, but When I tried to choose a different section it would select the whole image, all the way towards the outer border.
Turn down the tolerance of the magic wand

@@DeJesusCustomFootwear I got it, I right clicked on image and made sure that "point Sample" was chosen.
Does anyone know how to get multiplied angles of the same shoe? I feel limited by not being able to view the top of the shoe. Appreciate any insight!
You can search up the shoes on something like Nike.com or other retailers and grab their various angles

the photoshop program on mobile is a bit more limited in terms of the tools you have. There might be a program out there that MIGHT work
You can do it in procreate. It’s only 9.99 that’s what I use but I got the idea from Dejesus Custom Footwear

Maybe to some degree but there’s much less capability within the program

By the way. Line art is not the same as vector art FYI. Vector art opens in vector software such as illustrator.
How to deleted the background once your cropped out the bear and and everything else
You just delete that layer underneath since you put the bear on its own layer
You can multiply the gradient on the linework. So, put the gradient over the image, make it the size you want and change the BLENDING MODE from normal to multiply. What this does basically is that the white (1) is multiplied with the colors on your gradient, (1 x any number = to the number itself), so all the white will change to the gradient colors. Black (0), will remain black as, (0 x any number = 0), so the black lines will remain black.

There's a wayyy easier way to do this ngl
3 years later and seems to have helped plenty of people lol.. as I’m sure you know and like we mentioned there’s a million and one ways to do anything in a program as complex as photoshop.
