- Exploring Inside An Abandoned Marathon Gas Station & Subway. While on our trip to Texas back in December, we spent the night about halfway through our drive from Pittsburgh, PA to Weatherford, TX in Tennessee. Little did we know that we spent the night at a hotel right next door to a heavily vandalized abandoned gas station/convenience store and Subway restaurant. Enjoy our little exploration.

7:01 - I don’t know if the I-40 exit for Hurricane Mills was impacted, but both Hurricane Mills proper and the town of Waverly just 16 miles north along that same highway were completely devastated by a catastrophic flood back in August, just a few months before you passed through. That same area you were in was inundated by the same rain system, so it’s entirely possible that building was indeed flooded.

Firehouse Subs is much better than Subway, Jersey Mike's and Jimmy John's are also good sub restaurant's.
I live in the Detroit, Michigan area. I have seen Subway Submarine Shops close permanently. The Subway Submarine Shops that closed permanently were abandoned.
Good find as always! I have a question though, I don’t know if I just haven’t watched enough of your videos, but have you ever found a squatter or just any person in general doing urban exploring? I’ve just been curious for a while, especially when you’re able to make your way inside these places. Love the videos!
The kids meal toys are themed to the Pixar Movie “Coco”. Meaning this might of have closed sometime in the late 2010s

It is not every day where you find abandoned Subway to me seems very rare to find abandoned Subway and also I hope there is gas station close by so people can some place to get gas least I really hope so :)

It’s almost impossible to find stand alone Subway shops. Pretty much all Subway locations are attached to either shopping centers and gas stations or Walmarts.

Loretta Lynn has her ranch near Hurricane Mills and it has a wide variety of attractions you can visit.

The Log Cabin Restaurant that you're beside in this video I went there 4 years ago they're pretty good. Ironically I passed by this gas station I never knew it was abandoned

Great find, I always like seeing exploration videos of abandoned places even though some bad people already trashed the place. Those diet Pepsi's were probably way expired and probably taste really dull by now. I'd decline that too.

Pilot also is owned by the Haslam family, as in the former governor of Tennessee. I believe corporate HQ is in TN, too.
