It's great that it's been slowed down (sped up? I forget which applies w/out checking) so it's easy to play with. I believe Queen and Mack monkeyed with the master or whatever, maiking it a pain to play along w/ the album.
I don't think there's any speed changing involved for this particular one (I could be wrong), the technology nowadays just allows you to slightly alter the pitch without having to mess with the tempo... the speed is the same as the album/single (with this version being the single version without the extended bridge). I have the Wembley '86 version on my channel that is very similar to the Live Aid version and can be used as a pretty good substitute, but no specific Live Aid version yet.
