@@reeffactory The only thing I’m waiting for it to be able to download the data as a CSV file so I can properly analyse the data in Excel. THEN I’ll be impressed. I’ve just bought the PH monitor and as soon as I see an example file or confirmation that this facility is there then I’ll buy the whole family. Until then GHL is still tempting, but apparently Reef Factory will be adding this feature soon 🤞
Also think it would be good to automate RO addition based on Salinity reading like the KH keeper plus.

    • @ParkersReef

Another Con I found that the leads are a tiny bit short. That's both the probe length and the power cable length.
Since installing it, I've also found that the whole Reef Factory network isn't stable. I've now got 6 Reef Factory products working and since adding the sixth, am now getting all the devices dropping out every day. Usually early in the morning. If I remove a device, it seems to be more stable.
None of my EcoTech or Maxspect equipment drops out, so I don't think it's a network issue.
Tried to post my issue on their forum and the admins won't approve the post.

    • @ParkersReef

Totally agree with the lead length, would be handy to have them longer seeing as they are not extendable.

K10 salinity probe from Hydros is much better from an accuracy perspective and their isolation chamber which tests conductivity away from your equipment...most salinity probes on market use the K1 salinity probe which primarily reads in fresh water range with just the end spectrum for salinity which leaves it less accurate than a K10 probe which is dedicated to saltwater - Reef Factory, it is just another walled garden which doesn't make sense....fragmentation is not what we need in the hobby as no one will be brand loyal down to every last piece of equipment IMO. Also, there is a fatal flaw with Reef Factory as it has NO wired communication between its devices. All the devices rely only on Wifi to transmit data....god forbid you're in the middle of a dosing cycle and lose wifi....I don't see them lasting very long here as their equipment is cheaply made overseas in China while their software is made in Poland...they don't have dedicated customer support in the US which will make it really hard to support...also, no one is carrying their line willingly...Reef Factory got desperate and now providing a 60 day payment term and if you don't want it after 60 days, it can be returned...its why Champion and other small "distributors" only picked it up...I'd stay far away from them
