@thetravelingrapper it's just a great area in general to live. I lived there for a few years but moved back to the east coast now in North Carolina. Still though I miss Oregon.

@thetravelingrapper The biggest regret in my life is I passed on a chance to buy a house in West Linn , Oregon in 2012 for $120,000. I already had a paid off house at the time in North Carolina. Thought I couldn't afford it at the time. I have since gone on to buy 2 more additional paid off houses in North Carolina while still owning the original paid off house in North Carolina as well. But the decision to pass on the $120,000 house in West Linn in 2012 was probably the worst economic decision I ever made in my life even though it was small in square footage. Major mistake on my part considering I have since gone on to purchase two more houses. I dont know if you are an Oregon local or not but the bridge between Oregon City and West Linn was shown twice in your video.

@@jtbws1354 hey! Thanks for stopping by and dropping a comment it means a lot! It is super weird and I don’t understand it either. I think it has something to do with access and elevation change which is why it’s unique. Was cool to ride an elevator up a public street!

Hey there!! I have a story for you about this place! I once went to the home of the man ,Gordon Trapp, who designed this! I worked for a company that sent help/caregivers to assist senior/aging peoples in their homes - to assess their needs for a care giver. What lovely people, amazing house, and in his office were all of the blue prints and designs for this structure! And all along the walls were large black and white photos of the building proess. I was amazed to see all of this!! It was pretty cool! 😊

I don’t get the “vertical street” part. Are you saying the street leads to the elevator… then you get on the elevator… and that the street below continues when you get off at the top of the elevator?

@@williamgeorgelopezjunior8533 Hey William thanks for watching and commenting!! It is weird for sure, but basically the elevator is an actual street. Which makes it the only vertical street in America! Google it for more info, it’s so weird and unique which is why I had to make sure to go! Thanks for commenting and ur question
