Had the torsion axles on my 30 ft trail lite. Those systems give the trailer a smooth ride. I set a salt shaker in the middle of the dinette, no mat, about an hour and a half to the state park, 2 lane highway, filling hills, up and down. When I arrived and set up, went inside and the salt shaker had not moved at all, I find that smooth.....

Why mess around with bulky hard to store rv's when hardside pop-ups are available. Only negative is because it has a bathroom door you cannot do your business and cook breakfast at the same time....
I found in the comments, "Would be nice if the storage doors and the potable water opening had a lock on it. Everything in storage would be susceptible to thieves." ALSO, since the bed lifts up, no locks, it is a way into the trailer from the outside.

This is very important because I live in a deed-restricted community (no boats or RVs allowed on the property until inside the garage).
I would like to see a 4 sided straight wall pop up camper. Don't see any new models with this configuration in the states except for some older Apaches built in the early 70's and 80's. Saw some videos of a Carosel model in Great Britain that has 4 folding walls.
Nice aluminum wheels, but aluminum does corrode - turns into a white powder. I hope they're clear coated or just paint it over. Nitrogen in the tires is a waste, its only going to be aired up at gas station compressor air anyway. Only cool point of the trailer is that it folds down into a low profile/low drag trailer.

We're looking and comparing. I like the A-liner's, anyone by chance know the MSRP (retail price range)? I'm liking the ones with the dormer roof's on both ends. Definatly a barhroom. Most my cooking is done outside. Just me an the wife, don't need to pull a house with us, a small camper is perfect. Also since we have a V-6 SUV, weights a major factor.
Idea, take two of those and butcher them and put two of them together. Then have those side pop up's connect together that form's a wall with a door to a bedroom. Place a full bath in the front then kitchen with breakfast nook then the wall with door into bedroom place the bed at tge back that lifts up for storage and put in a sancho ESCAPE hatch at the back into that storage space on the back. Awe why not go even further and place hand pulled slide out's on one side of the camper? The kitchen stuff and the bed could be on hand pulled slide out's. Call it the executive suite A liner. 😀

You lost me at cassette toilet GROSS! No overhead storage means junk on the floor, dishes, food, etc...Plus the weight on this is too much for most Suvs and vehicles, there are better options out there.
