I think he just hates the concept of all the extenders and gas cyberse gets and still they dont make it as xenophobic as other types are (the only other exception being Dragons)

I mean a whole type of cards that say just special summon until you get to accesscode or turn 1 make the draw 1 guy isn't interesting at all to watch play for 3-4 minutes is it?

Reminder that Konami killed Matchmech and SHS in the paper game not because they were the top decks, but because they were budget friendly, and Konami doesn't make a lot of money from budget players. In MD they are OK, Circular is an UR and they just made a pack with the mathmech cards.

The scariest thing about generic Cyberse piles is the ability to play like 1 of everything and still often make it to full combo, because for some reason 95% of Cyberse cards are extenders.

What’s funny is Runnick isn’t toxic it’s actually the bare minimum a control deck has to be to be playable in 2023. Any worse and it would be unplayable garbage
I dislike runick but comparing it to mathmech in boringness is the most braindead shit ever. Mathmech is just handtrap them or die while runick tries to create an interesting grindgame. Feel like the only type of person that writes this shit is someone who only knows how to play boring ass uninteractive combo decks.

I genuinely don't understand his obsession with Cyberse as a whole. Mathmech never won a YCS and his end boards were never a problem, sure it can OTK but even Accesscode feels extremely powercrept at this point.
Not to mention Cyberse as an archetype all lock themselves to Cyberse and they can't play the luxury extra deck cards like every other deck whether it's S:P, T-PHON, BARONNE,ZEUS or wtv.
They don't have a broken link 1 that searches like every other broken deck nowadays or even a link 2 that forces an interruption. No extra deck monsters that pop or negate (apart from accesscode) to force anything......like out of all the decks in the game that do stupid shitt, why mathmech?

Sometimes people just irrationally hate certain decks. I'm same way with runick and branded. I know there are many non degenerate builds but I just despise everything tied to them.
@@ichbin8692Yeah every one of us have preferences that may seem weird to some people but still a preference nonetheless, so it really shouldn't surprise others at this point. Even if a deck is well-liked by the majority, doesn't mean that EVERYONE is on the same page.
Sometimes it's just personal biased or sometimes a justified reason or a combination of both.
There are decks I genuinely dislike because of the playstyle like controls deck in general and then there are decks that I just hate because I just do for some reason like Synchrons

15:50 Mathmech Circular is both the best and worst thing to happen to Ignister. It acts as another starter, Circular + a regular Ignister starter can bait interaction because many players are traumatized by Mathmech, and it makes the endboard stronger. However, it also means more garnets/semi-garnets, less room for staples, ands less flex space in the ED. Additionally, newer lists often don't use Update Jammer, which means if the Ignister player starts with Circular, their OTK line will be much longer, which is exactly what happened in this video.
It's especially weird if you try to play ignister in TCG format nowadays since you only have 1 circular, and you're frequently going to draw the sigma and the reborn spell and have them be pretty much dead cards

@@rebound1340 I think it's still possible to end on Singularity and at least one other Firewall boss, but link spider is now needed to survive getting nibbed, so something needs to get cut from the ED.

How anyone can enjoy master duel is beyond me. Banlist sucks, maxx c sucks, BO1 sucks, playing a card pool that is 6+ months older than TCG and 9+ months older than OCG sucks, and every game is either against a stall deck or a combo deck that solitaires for 5 minutes and puts up 999 negates.

I don’t get why mathmech gets so much hate, you would think it’s tier 1 or 0 the way he puts it, I get all you need is one card but there are many ways to stop 1 card
He hates the play style enabled by mathmech and cyberse in general. Even in this video he says that the deck itself isn't that strong.
