In honor of season 3 of the Rookie airing in the US, I decided to post a video about my favorite ship from the show, Chenford/Tucy. They are still so underrated and deserve more attention!
I fell in love with the idea of them as a couple in the first episodes of season one, but didn't think there would be any hope for them.
Finding out there is a small chenford community out there made me so happy and it's continuing to grow (Also big thanks to Eric Winter as the captain of this ship!). :D
In the video I want to display how much the two and their relationship grew over the seasons. Tim has opened up to Lucy so much; he trusts her and allows himself to be more soft and vulnerable (He smiles so much when he is around her!!). Lucy learned so much from Tim as her TO, but also as a friend. In the beginning she was a little naive and Tim balanced that out and showed her new perspectives.
I wish I could have included more scenes of them in this video, but it would have been too long XD
I am so HYPED to see their relationship growing even stronger in season 3 and I hope we will see them talking more about their personal lives & feelings in future episodes :)

Does anyone notice that she is the only one he ever smiles at... No cop would ever postpone taking rank to finish training his rookie... he would pass her off to the next TO if he didn't have feelings for her... plus he takes so much off of her that any other TO would have sent her packing... stealing his money clip... leaving him the bar tab, when she says you know me so well and he smiles and says Too Well... that is rather telling... they have been through a lot together ... more then most I was married to a cop and his whole 20 years he never went through a tenth of what they have been together... I also doubt highly that he would have held her like that if she were anyone else... Tim has to hold back his feelings cuz it would be wrong to step over that line for her... SGT also was concerned that that line had been stepped over... when Tim found out he was 8th in line for his promotion and she got so excited kind of bounced and SGT went from looking at Tim to a quick look at Chen with a wrinkled brow he didn't like that level of excitement for Tim... they are in each other's personal lives a lot... and YES they need to be together... it will be awhile cuz she will still be his rookie for awhile... but time will pass and they will be free to do what their hearts tell them... my cousin was CHP and he married a fellow CHP.. it happens more then you know... if they would to get married one of them would have to transfer to a different office... they don't want them to be tempted to protect their spouse more then their partner... like John did in the gun fight when he left his partner who could have been killed when he went to Lucy instead... BUT the time will come... I love how he smiles at her and how they have those long eye contact moments... (sigh) in time... if not I will be really ticked :)

They better be endgame. They're just so adorable. I need them to happen. They're the reason I started watching the show. I hadn't even heard of it till I saw a TH-cam clip of him finding her buried alive, now I'm addicted. I like most of the other characters too but these two are hands down the best.

I don't even watch this show (yet, LOL), but found out about this ship when I was obsessing over Upstead on Chicago PD (partners to lovers is a superior trope). I've only seen a few scenes of them before this, but I love how this edit just shows how special of a bond these two have! Thanks to you, I'm definitely going to start watching this show right away, and I can't wait to fall in love w/ Chenford

This was very well done...I really hope that their relationship in the show develops into something more because they're the reason I'm rewatching every episodes
To be loved is to be seen and I really think they truly see each other. They understand each other’s fear, issues and pain and don’t hold it against each other. I think out of all the shows and movies their story and timeline is one of my favorites because the connection and build is so deep and I LOVE ALL THE SMALL DETAILS💗
