Alligators' powerful gun work both on land and sea targets so Alligators can give their max damage to both sea and land targets. But Vikings cannot give their max damage to land targets because their torpedos cannot hit land targets. And their gun damage is also lower than Alligator guns so Vikings overally do much lesser damage to land targets. Why am I bringing this topic? Because one of the key reasons of using naval units is to attack both sea and land(specially enemy buildings). And Alligators do it the best. Plus add the bonus fact that Alligators have anti-air so they can always defend themselves from air attack. Alligators are the true🐐.
