Am I the only person who when I go see a show I imagine what would happen if I was put into the performers body. Like if I would know the lines and stuff😭😭😭
I would recommend doing crew/tech! For the longest time I was too shy to perform and I not only really enjoyed the experience of being on crew but it was a great start into getting more comfortable on stage
I have pretty bad social anxiety but I love theatre so believe me I know the struggle. I started off on crew and then joined the cast to be an ensemble member and I’m always glad that I did. It feels so great to be a part of something! (even a small part) I recommend trying it! No matter how stressful it gets, I’m always glad for the experience and the kind people I meet.

Just wanted to say I’m absolutely satisfied with the casting decision for funny girl. I saw it yesterday and Lea rocked it. People hold things against her, she’s obviously changed and she publicly apologized and feels bad abt it. Do I agree with her past behaviors no but she is extremely talented and she makes the perfect Fanny. But these TikToks are amazing. Theater TikToks are all I watch these days 😭😭

so at auditions, be loud and stand in the middle of the stage. like right in the middle. sing proudly, have a good attitude, and always pack a audition bag with deodorant, jazz shoes just in case, and bring water. hope this helped!
