I brought the bluelyzer St analyser great bit of kit light compact and quick turnaround on calibration. Great review Jitha, I brought the rogue 2.0 a good few months ago generally use it for electrical installations. Recently purchased the PB's 9.0 rogue, this is what I heavily use for gas service maintenance . 👍🏽
I’ve been back and forth pondering the Rogue 2.0, the TP5b and the Dewalt DGL573. I’d written off the TP5b as I go to a prison and having tools that are visible and easy to grab isn’t a good idea. I didn’t think the Rogue would hold enough for an 1st response kit but seeing this video has now put it firmly in the lead. Cheers for a great review 👍
I went with the 2.0 just after this, and now I see the significance of the numbering system. After about 2 weeks of use the carry strap started falling apart, the stitching opened right up. I contacted Velocity, no problem they said send us some pics, took my address and promised a new strap. Despite following up they never bothered to respond or replace. Gutted I wasted my money on their products, I so wished I’d gone for the Veto ☹️☹️☹️ Don’t give then your money people, their customer service/after sales is appalling
Rudy Vargas hey mate! The Veto is still an amazing bag, but the Rogue 2.0, just has a slight edge if ur looking to carry ur FGA in the same bag as I do
I too used the BG box for years till I started realising I don't actually need half the tools in the box and having just the right amount of space for the actual tools you need, means ur not gonna overfill the tool box and have a back ache!
Great review. Just wish there was a shop near me that had these on the shelf. I need to see if I can fit my card machine (standard style you find in Uk shop) in the side zip pocket. Where you keep your testo manometer. How big would you say the zip pocket is?
Hey Stuart! Thanks for reaching out! It ur using a old school chip and pin machine like in the shops, then it definitely won't fit... but if u have a izettle, square or sumup card reader that with definitely fit! Best of luck mate, but overall u won't go wrong with this bag! I love my bag to bits! Live long & prosper! 🖖🏽
Hey Paul! Thanks for reaching out to me! When it come to applying jointing compound, I slide pipe in snug, pull the olive back and apply the compound and then push the olive home and tighten! Hope this makes sense! Live long & prosper! 🖖🏽
Thanks mate! Just wanted to give an unbiased view on the perks of this velocity rogue 2.0 bag. And also try and show how I can carry out 5-8 calls a day with just my 1 bag full of useful tricks!
Great reviews mate, I'm torn between buying one just now. All my other bags are veto but I'd say I fancy the Velocity one more. By the way, there is a reason those knipex pliers have a smooth end at the tip. Its to prevent damage or rounding of when gripping the cable. Dont mean to sound a smart arse but thought you might appreciate it! Haha cheers 👍

Hey bro... yes unfortunately due to the pandemic, sticks are limited... Jasmyn ordered mine for Father's Day in March, but it delivered in July... but it was definitely worth the wait as u can see!
I had the 310 for 8 years. Its dam good analyser. I know have a used 320b. But i really want a testo 300. That thing is amazing. Or i also like the bluelyser.
I was keen to get both the testo 300 and the bluelyzer... but I refuse to pay 3 times more for a machine that really and truly doesn't do anything more that what my amazing 310 can already do! Tbh mate... I jut ordered another 310 today for €330, just so I always have a backup and also when it goes away for calibration, I'm not left stuck without one 😂
M8 300 has inbuilt pda so you can send reports from it. But i get that it's 3 times that of a 310. Have you thought about the 320 thats about £550 but links in to the testo Android app.?
Hi mate, hope you don’t mind me asking you, but did you “transfer” your British gas safe qualifications to NL or had to do some additional there in order to work as a gas engineer?
@@thebeardedheatingco thanks for getting back to me. Not sure I got it right. Did you mean you simply translated your British qualifications CCN1 to the NL version or had to do like a “proof of skills” new one in Dutch to be fully qualified?
Hi! No, the rogue 2.0 is definitely more sturdier than the tpxl 💯 I'm actually gonna buy another rogue 2.0 soon... that's how good it is... by far my favourite tool bag! Hope this helps! Live long & prosper! 🖖🏽
Hi great video, could you please tell me if you could fit a full size ipad or Samsung tab in that rear compartment? I prefer this bag but the veto tp xl lists that it was designed to fit iPads, on the velocity bag it's not listed as a feature, Was hoping you was going to try it on your review, would you mind seeing if one would fit? Thankyou
Hello mate! I thank u for reaching out! I just physically checked... and I have a iPad Pro 11" and that definitely does not fit in the rear pocket. So anything smaller will certainly go in, but the iPad Pro is a no go… I appreciate you getting in touch and hope I was able to answer ur query! Stay safe and well, and live long and prosper my friend! 🖖🏽
Hey great video, just a quick question I know this is primarily meant for servicing but do you think i could get away with this "Service Bag" as a daily install bag? i've currently got the rogue 7.0 but found its waaaay to big and i just overload it and don't use half as much of the tools i have stored in it for my daily work so could do with slicing my carry load in half and fitting it all in this?
Hey fella! If u want to use the tp-xl or the rogue2.0 as a small install bag, I would recommend the tp-xl without a shadow of doubt! It's only slightly wider but it carries so much more than the rogue2.0! Hope this helps!!!
@@T1000-e7s hi mate! The TPXL carries more screwdrivers and small hand tools, but the Rogue 2.0 can fit my Testo flue gas analyser and a fluke voltage/continuity tester. So it a bit of a tight comparison now... 2/3 years after I made this video... my Rogue2.0 is still the perfect toolbag for my daily tool carrier. I all basically comes down to how much and how many tools you intend to carry in the bag. From my video you can see how much both bags are able to carry! Hope this helps! Live long & prosper! 🖖🏽
