Change the oil regularly and often will help but not stop it completely, After running it hard let it ideal for 5/10 minutes to cool down They stick mostly during shut down hot as hell 😊
Ok, I don't understand how to properly torque down the valves so I sprayed penetrating oil down in the carb to get it unstuck that way in a few days. I don't know if that will help but any suggestions while I'm at it? Thanks
I am not really sure. If you have a stuck valve the best idea is to take off the head if oil hasn't worked. Light taps with a plastic hammer works as well
hi there, good vid i had problem with gcv 160 no compression i checked me valve they both move when spin the flywheel carburetor is new thermo wax new, so i do not know what else to do to make runing any suggestion thankyou
I would imagine they are just frozen in place. Some penetrating oil and some movement should hopefully free them up. If not the head will have to be removed
Ya answered my questions about that honda on the log splitter, at least I have some place to start
Hopefully it works. If it doesn't you can email me. pnw.smallengineandlawn@gmail.com

Your valves could be out of spec. Do they have a small gap in between the rocker and the valve? You could have no valve clearance
How tight the screws need to be if I put the metal thing back on?
Should be 83 in lbs
@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn the vaves right?
Both of my valves are not moving any thought s
They could both be stuck and or seized. Do you see your cam rotating?
@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn yes I can feel it going up and down . It’s a Troy bilt tb360

@@PNWSmallEngineandLawn ok thanks
Typical Honda! Last of video, motor revving way too high.
Thing is they don’t have a tack to test rpm and they blow the rods out side 😊😊
