Can I thank you my friend? I'm a very busy guitar teacher and was slaving over this mega dropped tuning song as one of my best students asked me to chart it. Your TAB is an absolute God-send.
Great skills and thanks for the tab. Would you answer one question please? How do you do pauses in the slap part? Do you just stop pressing the frets with incredible timing or you also do something else?
I'm sorry, my English is not very good. I'm talking about the slap part that starts at 00:50. In the tab I see a lot of 1/16 pauses. How do you stop the strings to get those pauses? Do you use your left hand? When I play that part I get a lot of unwanted noises from the strings ringing 😅
@@alessandropianese6127 no worries ! Yes, you should be able to stop a note by lifting your fretting finger up so that it absorbs the string's vibrations, hence muting it. However when you do that, there are still slight vibrations that will make some harmonics sound. This is why I try, at the same time I'm lifting my fretting finger, to also place my other fingers on the string, this way the sound is completely muted. Finally depending on the situation, you can also use your right hand to stop the sound by, again, placing your finger on the played string. I hope this helps you !

@@LeMosbi thank you so much for the detailed explanation, I really appreciate it!!!
sick sound! also how did you got that punchy lows? or is it just the AFR Magic?
A bit of AFR Magic, fresh strings magic, Neural DSP magic... It's just a bunch of magic put together really :)
Hello! Quick question : what's the tuning for 5 string bass? I don't quite understand how it works either, which strings are turned up/down?
Hi ! For a 5 string bass (like I did) the G string is not used. The other strings are tuned from B E A D to Bb F Bb Eb
@@LeMosbi that makes sense now! Thank you very much for a great cover and a great tab ❤️

It's in the description !
