I remember watching Pewdiepie when he first announced he was going to be on a south park episode. He was so humbled by them and was just so excited to be apart of it.
2014 was a great year for South Park. They got a successful video game, these kind of topics to make fun of in that episode. Already 9 years ago
That game was so GREAT! I'm not a huge fan of WRPG's I prefer JRPG's way more but South Park Stick of Truth was so AMAZING! And obviously is sequel game.

I think they announced a new South Park game but if I remember correctly it will not be a RPG but something totally new and different, I at least hope they can capture the magic of these 2 games, because they felt like you playing a South Park episode or more like a South Park movie or 3 part episode story.

I remember where I was when this aired. I was in Orlando and it was cold. Too cold for Florida. I got drunk and laughed then next morning moved to Dallas. This isn’t relevant to the episode or your channel, but I grew up on this show. Every episode I know where I was, where I was living and doing. Well not all but certain ones stand out
Funny thing is that they asked felix to participate but he was going to Japan that week. So he took a lot of his equipment with him to record the video and he also got sick. And since they wanted him to be loud of the part, he annoyed his japanese neighbors and got complaints. He is a real champ
Unlike earlier seasons when you could watch episodes out of order and it didn't matter, this was when story plots in previous episodes had reproductions in later ones.
The Redskins reference was the plot of a previous episode, Go Fund Yourself.

There are a few references to previous episodes. This was just as the Bill Cosby accusations were starting to roll in. Before he even went to court for it. Angelina Jolie scratching herself is from "Lice Capades" S11 E3, The Washington Redskins is from "Go Fund Yourself" S18 E1, When Cartman tries going transgender is "Go, Strong Woman, Go" S18 E3, this one came out December 2014.

Season 18 was a serialized version of south park done right it was what season 20 tried to be again. I really recommend you check them ALL
This is not my favorite 2 part episode story of South Park but is still very solid, I like the final message the conclusion, what will age better than just focusing on current YT stars alone what would age poorly in the future.
South Park made a couple video games that are amazing and I think if you played those and reacted to them it would have fit with your channel even though you're playing a video game. My understanding is that Trey Parker and Matt Stone watch PewDiePie play their first video game, The Stick of Truth which is amazing, but they watched PewDiePie to get feedback on things they should do for the sequel. I'm 45 years old and I've never watched PewDiePie ever in my life, but I knew what Southpark is that came out when I was in my twenties.

As I recall the Redskins”‘Go F * Yourself” joke was about how Snyder and the organizations’ management constantly refused to apologize or make any changes in regards to the offensive actions and toxic workplace culture they fostered. They had even gone as far as to investigate the people and agencies investigating them to try and dig up dirt. It was pretty bad. As stated by others here, South Park had covered the Redskin situation more in depth in a previous episode, so this was primarily a call back to that. I think the fact all this was still ongoing at the time this episode was going to air is why they decided to throw that little extra jab.
The Redskins changed their name... now Cartman owns that trademark.
