My first time doing this. Really cool! I set my timer for 2 minutes the first 2 times, then 3 minutes. I got some great answers and it does really feel like it’s coming from somewhere else.
Yay! It makes a huge difference if you force yourself to do it for a while. It can take a bit to get into that flow.

This TH-cam video of How To Automatic writing via the psychic Lauryn channel definitely gives my creative imagination and intuition some ideas to begin the automatic writing session with for instance she also insightfully referenced automatic drawing which helped feed my writing subconscious with an idea to combine a drawing of one of my past previous sleeptime dreams and combining with an automatic writing session

Thank you lauryn, I'm actually just starting out with my "psychic" skills but I'm realizing they have always been strong , I've just never paid attention before. I'm fast approaching the age of 35 (in 4 days to be exact) and I'm getting a strong inclination that this could be important. I KNOW one of my guides is archangel Uriel, for many many reasons, I'm excited to know what will come with automatic writing as it's a tool I've never used before. Going to try this again because a psychic medium told me to do automatic writing. The part about receiving resonated with me because years ago when I tried it, it felt more like I was forcing it… but the essays in school, I could’ve sworn I was channeling information from elsewhere because I was way too tired and when I’d read it after the fact it never felt like something I could’ve just come up with consciously

I was using the spirit board about 20 years ago. It spelt out to get my mother who was happy hanging out the washing until I shouted her up to my room. The board asked she get a piece of paper and a pen. I'd never seen or heard of automatic writing until that day. My mum picked the pen up and it started moving by itself and quickly underlined the page when starting a new row. It read my mum had womb cancer and I told her to stop. I'm pagan and a witch plus a medium but I cannot do what my mum can. I've tried a lot. O now know she can channel. I've told her this. She isn't interested in the spirit world etc so I do not do the board anymore as you have to be careful dealing with the unknown and unprotected. I channel through thought but this topic fascinates me. Sorry long I know but wanted to share my experience. Thank you for the video ps my mum did not have womb cancer as spirit can lie. Thankfully.
Yes you definitely have to be careful with these tools and make sure you are connecting to the right energy and setting your boundaries! It's crazy how naturally channeling can come to some people!

I found that adding a timer was nit needed. For me the information from spirit should have no limitations. But very cool technique and good video! I will definitely be using this to firther my communication with spirit!
Did you use a timer to make sure you didn't go too long? Or for another reason?
For example this video with a high CTR needs to be on your channel page. Great video I've done this but never studied.
I do this with automatic drawing and then use some intentionality after I have some automatic base form. Thanks agian, very cool videos.
I have a private personal journal on my computer and I do this at times in there, 15 minutes or less per journal record.

I set my timer for 2 minutes and felt like I got into the flow quickly. “What my guides want to to know is…” “What God think about my worth and soul’s beauty is…”

Automatic writing comes naturally. When I write for myself it makes little sense and not well thought out. My prompt or question to start is never the same.
When I get permission to read others it’s easier to write it down (including drawings).
I sometimes wonder if automatic writing can be used to help those with DID or OSDD connect with their alters or headmates

we are on our moms account so ignore that but our system has a notebook so we can communicate with one and other
I tried it. There was written something but the writing was very slow.
Yes I write to talk to God, spirit guides angels and higher self I write what I feel or my prayer and all the sudden they will come in and I will in a trance going so fast omg 😂 but I know it’s them its not my own language or how I would speak my guides are funny so sometimes they will make a lil joke 😂 my higher self feels really high up like a queen or something
Yess! My guides joke with me all the time haha. When I did this to connect to my son before he was born, my writing came out very sing songy and lots of rhymes, definitely not me!

Hey! So, how do I know if whatever that I write is because of the spiritual guide/my higher self and not the outpour of thoughts from my subconscious mind? Also, is there really a difference between the two?
Sharang, that is the biggest question I get! I am about to do a video on it, so subscribe and look out for it. Yes, there's definately a difference, long answer short, the more you practice, the more you'll know that difference.

Great question! I would say that it can definately help get you into that flowing psychic mind. However, if it disrupts your ability to be in the flow or if it makes it entirely illegible, I would stick to your dominant hand.

I have done automatic writing before I knew what it was called. Its weird to get different accent/voices come through. Also love the Star Wars rebel sticker.

I would say try both and see what you think! For some people it could be distracting, but it might help some focus more. 🤷🏼♀️
How do you set an intention?
I'm frustrated because I tried and didn't get anywhere with it. 😢 I'm in serious need for comfort and connections with my guides right now.
Try a different method Alex! Not everything works for everyone. I have a whole playlist of different exercise types!
Is automatic writing the same thing as freewriting?
My therapist suggested me to freewrite . With a pencil on paper like a kid and write. She said to use my non dominant hand but to start with use my comfortable hand? Use a timer and start with Once upon a time
It basically is, I would say that the only difference is that people who call it freewriting probably have the intention to do it as a creative exercise and not a spiritual one. This video is adding that spiritual touch to the exercise!

Is it normal to feel tired after doing this? I did it for the first time and right after I felt like I desperately needed a nap when I was done.
It can but it should not! That's a sign of your boundaries not being set well and feeling drained. You have to protect yourself first and clear your energy when you are done. Watch my videos on boundaries and my how to video on turning your psychic ability off. Also if you do this for a long amount of time it will drain you naturally, so try to keep it timed.

What about scribbling with a blank mind? I can write pages and pages that look like it should say something but only a few of the words are legible.
Totally normal! And i wish I would've mentioned that in this video, several people do this, there's really not a wrong way it should look as long as you are really getting into that intuitive flow!

My husband passed away just before 40 days and we were separated from last 1 year due to some family issues but even though I know he loved me a lot and me too but not sure whether he knew that.
Now I'm in a toughest and worst situation that I was unable to communicate with him before his death and I have lot of things to let him know about my love and thoughts towards him. I have 2 daughter's, elder is 5 yrs and younger is 1 yr old.

Yes! It may be more difficult because high emotions can cloud your psychic abilities but if you can come at it neutrally, there's no reason why you shouldn't be able to!
I just don’t understand how you can write without actually picking up your pen. You would just have one big word for each line, so what do you really mean when you say don’t pick up the pen
More like dont pick up your pen for an extended amount of time! obviously you'll need to pick it up to create new letters haha! however, some folks find it easier to make it cursive

After spending some time on expressing my thoughts on the computer and actually getting in argument with "the topic",
seeing this makes me feel weird because I thought this is normal. I'm not an expert myself but when I read the what I've written although I am aware that it was me who had this thought, it still feel weird to read it because it seems like there is another side in me that still sounds strange, so what I do is basically never reread what I write after I've written and move on.
Being on the keyboard I always thought what brought me into this flow was just my typing speed but it could very well be that I typed so much that I became an automatical writer.

What you are doing is called stream of consciousness writing, NOT automatic writing. sheesh.
Different people call it different things and I think both of those terms are acceptable. Unfortunately in this industry there is no "standard" for anything. Try not to let it bother you too much!
