I was out of the country when this was broadcast and know nothing about it. Some very funny parts. Short and sweet. Classic sketch format, as the name implies.
@@Youboy64 It's just like how Pizzas get delivered on a motorbike but in this sketch, instead of delivering a Pizza he's delivering soup, so it's all pouring out of the box as he is riding along! It's the kind of visual joke I tend to laugh at. Sorry for the 3 year late reply by the way!
I am so greatful for you posting this show. It reminds me of when sat night live didnt suck 40 years ago with a bit of kids in the hall and mad tv poured on top. Thank you
This has brought back many happy memories......uplifting During a brief "Blutezeit" I wrote some sketches myself...in 2005 4 of them were aired on the much maligned Shoot The Writers. Why oh why oh why will the BBC or ITV not run a similar show inviting the public to send in sketches. With all that talent out there it would be of good quality. Your comments please
If you are looking for a specific sketch, the following sketches are in this episode: S2E1 1. Buckingham Guard Photograph 2. Deep snorkel 3. Shatter glass by singing 4. Thesaurus disease 5. Buried in the sand 6. Do you want to dance 7. Hunting holiday 8. Don’t I know you? 9. Lighthouse 10. Long Sock drawer 11. War is wrong 12. I was just wondering… 13. Undress her slowly 14. It's interesting to see how careers develop from shows like this. It's incredibly hard to become a successful comic, and almost impossible to persuade TV bosses to give you a chance in the first place. It makes sense for a group of performers to pool their talents and try to make a go of it. Sometimes it works; usually it doesn't. Series One was obviously a success - because we got this second series - but it's sad that Ronni Ancona decided to jump ship and try to go it alone. I don't know why she left. Maybe she felt underused, overshadowed and wanted more of the limelight. Being in a group like this must be a bit like playing in a band - there comes a point where one member wants to move on. Sometimes it's an ego thing. Personality clashes and artistic differences... Did Ronni ever have her own solo TV series? I'm sure she made guest appearances on established stars' sketch shows. (Jon Culshaw? Dead Ringers?) It must have been a bitter pill to swallow after co-starring on this one. Perhaps she'd hoped to follow in Tracey Ullman's footsteps. The male members of the cast all went on to varying degrees of solo success, but only Lee Mack became a TV regular. It's been said before: forging a career in comedy is no laughing matter.
kitty flanagan is actually doing quite well as a comedian over here in australia! in my experience shes a very popular n well known comedian, for her stand up and also tv appearances. and also she’s currently starring as the lead in a show called ‘fisk’ which won a logie(australian tv award) recently! (its a very good show in my opinion btw, highly recommend it) idk how well known she is outside of australia but yea 👍 in australia she’s very much a tv regular haha
This second series is not going to work. Ronni Ancona was amazing - a talented mimic, extrovert, funny, good looking, sexy, and a joy to watch, and they have replaced her with someone who has the personality of a didgeridoo!
Yo Vlad the Plagiariser, if you absolutely insist on plagiarising other people’s work, at least give them the credit they deserve for actually, i dunno, actually creating this stuff.
" Parachuting? Yes, how many parrots do you want to shoot ?"
Great line.
I heard "parrots" as "parents"
@@verybigboytree2763 Me too
"What about twatting zebras?"
I love that Lee Mack made an entire episode of Not Going Out inspired from that adult film sketch and it was hilarious af😂
I knew I recognised it!
"This is a porn film!"
yes
Lee Mack's impressions of Eric Morcambe never cease to crease me up. Incredible.
Well there's even shades of Andy Kaufman in that Elvis doing impressions sketch.
This is wonderful . I can’t believe how much work went into this series. Scripts, props, locations, extras, etc. Amazing.
I was just thinking that. I wonder what their shooting block was like
WE NEED THIS SHOW BACK
I was out of the country when this was broadcast and know nothing about it. Some very funny parts. Short and sweet. Classic sketch format, as the name implies.
The Dial-A-Soup sketch at 14:56 deserves at least one mention, such a short quick sketch yet it had us in stitches when it was first broadcast.
+KRPTV I hate to spoil something, but I don't really get the funny in that sketch :-(.

My favorite sketches are the ones that are very quick
The bell boxer ones are great
"I don't want any of your 80's crap..."
I'm still in tears of laughter. Why they haven't released this on DVD, I don't know.

Cops with a message! That was brutal!!
Loved Lee Mack's Eric Morcambe impression.
Howcome I’m only finding this now???😂😂😂
It's a big world and we all have jobs to worry about
Same
You were three years ahead of me😊
Same feeling
You don't live in Europe
Thank you for uploading this! I've not watched this show in about 20 years!
"We can do the Model by Kraftwerk" ... proceeds to do the robot .... THAT got me cracking up!
And she was surprisingly good at it.
Seeing these video's are so old, but first time I have seen any of them love em. From an Aussie
This show did air in Australia. In fact I'm pretty sure this copy was recorded from Australian TV.
4:50 - I remember seeing this on the TV he said "Sutton Library" and I lol'd.
Thanks so much for posting full episodes of Season 2. Been looking for this season everywhere.
i've been looking for that elvis impersonator sketch for years!
OMG. How did I not know about this great show? Two of my favourite comedians Lee Mack & Kitty Flanagan. I’m really getting 2 love Tim also.

All The Leaves Are Brown... 😂
Thesaurus joke will never get old, dated, belittled, reused
That classical music sketch at the end.....................hilarious.............😆
I laugh a lot when she models like a robot!
Why have I not seen this? It's really funny!
Nice to see this again. The lookalike agency one was so funny.
python's and peter cook's humour lives on in this show.
Yesss 1000% that's why i love it
Tim Vine is my favourite one.
loved this show.
I miss this show lmao. Short, straight to the point and witty
im watching these every night to fall asleep
I love that the titles of the cast are simply in alphabetical order. No preciousness just a list
Most shows are alphabetical or in order of appearance. You're overthinking it.
First time.seeing this! Fantastic
A wanker told me seinfeld was the best sketch show, i had to explain the difference between a sit com and a sketch show ….some mothers do have em !
The amount of effort for a 5 second clip is incredible.
hey thanks for uploading all these sketch shows i have really enjoted them! brilliant comedy.
I love that sketch at the end!

Sorry Lee mack, and karen.
What happens Ronnie?!
Much funnier than that Smack the Pony crap. At least these sketches have endings.
1:12 GURL😳🍸
This second series is not going to work.
Ronni Ancona was amazing - a talented mimic, extrovert, funny, good looking, sexy, and a joy to watch, and they have replaced her with someone who has the personality of a didgeridoo!
Kiwi fruit
Aussie Billabong
The replacement for Ancona is awful in comparison!
She was absolutely terrible
still funny in 2023
You had to know it had to end up at ".Falco'.
Not as good as season 1, I'm sure because Ronni wasn't in it.
Agreed
Ronnie was so much better than kitty
y I only watch this late at night?
@18:40- Wow! Bad timing watching this now! RIP George Michael!
Which song is it please
