Great outcome if you need water circulation and larger sized bubbles. However finer bubbles could be achieved and result in significant improvement in oxygen transfer
I've been thinking of adapting a venturi in a similar way for hydroponics DWC but rather than use the bubbles generated, simply pass the air through a stone for the smaller size bubbles. Basically it seems to me fluid pumps tend to be more reliable than air pumps so as a means to generate some air I'd aim the outlet beneath a 5 gallon bucket with an airline barb fitted "up top" on the bottom in a larger rubbermaid of water. I should have a proto together in a week or two.
I still can't understand what the difference is between venturi so good it leaves the 02 in solution for a long time and turns the water milky white vs like this one? I've successfully made this one type but can't get the uber milker.

I am sorry but there is a misunderstanding... At the minute 1:04, you show the fitting 1 1/4" x 1/2" but at the beginning, you didn't show this piece...So there are 5 fittings PVC in total or there is this 1 1/4" x 1/2" more, totalizing 6 pieces? (without the small pipes)

The epoxy is killing me. Better to use aquarium-grade silicone sealant, as the epoxy will break down over time leaching into the water. I really like the design, but the epoxy is a no go.

She got so lit that the hyena was able to claw open the medicine cabinet & chow down on 3-1/2 jars of my Uncle Rocky's Viagra without her even noticing. Now, Jaime was already gettin' a little shifty eye'd with the leopard skin toilet seat cover but when that Viagra kicked in it was like "Schwing" and he was on that thing faster than a duck on a june bug. He was hittin' that shit like a poodle on a new mailman's leg. In fact, that rabid little beast hammered that musty old urine wafting toilet toupee so hard that he somehow resuscitated a commode that hadn't swallowed a turd in over 2 decades. When I heard that thing begin to flush, I nearly dropped a cornback dolphin myself & I bolted in there so fast that I was just barely able to get a hold of her G-String which to my absolute dismay snapped as I was pulling her from the depths of the porcelain whirlpool. I frantically plunged that evil esophagus of odor for what seemed like weeks but was only rewarded with a full pair of Uncle Rocky's used Depends that couldn't make it past the transition into the main sewer because they got hung up on his Superman belt buckle that he always wore with them. Immediately, a 9 Man Seal Team was deployed into the sewer along with 13 Military trained bloodhound catfish all of whom, after 14 grueling days and nights were only ever able to recover the infamously seedy toilet seat cover that was later auctioned off to charity for 1.7 Million that was later rewarded to the Missing Midgets Relief Fund.

oxygen transfer happens at the surface when the bubbles breach. Smaller bubbles dissolving in the water does considerably less

Try just fitting a line close to the intake of the pump with a line above water and it will work without all the fittings and work.
