Wow…thank you for sharing this..I think the last part hit really hard…especially from childhood trauma…
Many parents tell their children that they are doing what’s best for the children. They giving them “gifts”.
Those parents would brainwash their children to a point where the children fear rebellion because that would mean they wouldn’t receive the “gifts”.
Regardless what the “gifts” are, if the children are suffering because of that “gifts”, then the children always have the right to say “no thank you. I don’t want your ‘gifts’”.
Going passed that fear is really the key to the whole healing process…!

The timing & how the universe aligned this video for me. I nearly broke down with so much raw emotions. Everything as you described is what I’ve been going through since this past year ‘til now. It took a very long time for me to find a semblance of myself & a little bit of normalcy (due to a mesh of mental, trauma, anxiety, & insecurities). Healing is still a work in progress, but it felt so empowering listening to you reiterate every truth & tip for Hmong girls like me. I will take the “Paj Lug” to heart. This was my first time hearing & learning about it. Thank you for your positive & enlightening contents! 🫶🏻
