All they did was take the Weekend's original version, completely removed the second verse, and then threw Grande's voice in its place. Not a remix. A true remix is when you take a song and use parts of it in a completely new song, and those remixes are usually electronic music based. So if this was a true remix, a producer like Skrillex or Deadmau5 would take this and make it into their own song.
