Aww Em happy new year to you and yours. I loved seeing Matt in the kitchen, he has hidden talents hehe. Em my mum is Scottish and mum always used a ham hock to make vegetable soup. You put the ham hock in water, and then you add your veggies, potatoes carrots, leek , onion and a pkt of soup lentils and eventually you can eat the ham in it as well, as it just peels off the bone and flavours the soup. Absolutely delicious. Serve with warm bread.💕

Happy New Year!! Your meal looked amazing. We had our main Christmas Day with family in New Years Eve thanks to me with Covid and my husband with a chest infection. We had a quiet Christmas Day, just the 4 of us, so NYE was our main day. My goals for 2024 is to take my 2 boys to some City destinations in Europe....❤. So sweet that Matt shares the kitchen duties! One of the sweetest parts of a good relationship is spending time in a kitchen, each person doing the piece that they enjoy to contribute!
