It was an amazing night filled with so much love, and joy, as we celebrated this special occasion with family and friends, and where we as first time parents got to experience this beautiful part of our Ghanaian culture. I finally found the reason why i love 💘 you so much, all Haitians are the same to the Africans. I'm Haitian and you're a Ghanaian😍😍😍 same blood, same culture.
Ah this just took my mind all the way back home! the naming ceremony is the same as in gambia where i came from. the difference is that we are muslims...but i enjoyed this all the way. may god give y'all the ability to have patience to raise your child well!

The ladies basically explained it as I would have 😊 It's a party/celebration when you show off the child to family and friends technically for the first time since they were born, because in Akan tradition, when a baby is born, the baby and mother stay home for the first 3 months
