    I'm a 78kg man with height 5'4"....So thought of Meteor or Avenger for bike options. If you can suggest me more choices I will be thankful to you.

      Meteor 350 is better.
      More power
      Easy to overtake at highway speeds
      Can easily handle your weight without any issue.
      But, cost of maintenance is higher with meteor.
      Overall, if you have no budget issues, go for Meteor 350

      PPF karwana ho to bahut sari companies hain jo 1-2 sal ki warranty deti hain, lekin agar apki bike regularly bagar khadi hoti hai, dhoop me, to fayda nhi hai. Jab ppf utarwate hain to pain kharab hota hai.
      Agency wale to kabhi salaah nhi dete ki PPF karwao.
      Jo normal PPF hote hain us se matte black paint ki look kharab hoti hai.

      Ceramic coating ke baare me ek baar agency se aap salaah le lena.
      2-3 best practices hain jo apko karna chahiye:
      1. Bike daily use na karna ho to good quality cover se dhak ke rakhe.
      2. Hard material wale keychain na use kare, kyu ki jab fuel bharwane ke liye tank ka lid open karoge to tank pe to keyring hi scratch maar dega.
      3. Bike pe dusting karne ke liye achhi quality ka microfiber kapda rakhna sahi rahta hai, usi se dusting karo.
      4. Bike wash ke liye sirf wahi do jo foam wash karte hain aur unko bolo ki sirf foam ko failaane ke liye kisi saaf kapde ka istemal kare aur body pe kapda ragde nahi. Polish nahi karwana warna gloss aa jata hai paint me.
      5. Kai bar bag pack aage rakh ke ham bike chalate hain to bag bhi tank ko ragadta hai. Is se bachna chahiye. Hamesha luggage le ke chalna ho to hard pannier ya detachable denim saddle bags bike me laga ke rakhiye. Aise bags jinke sath rain cover bhi aata ho.
      6. Helmet utar ke tank pe na rakhe to better hai.
      Sab se important:
      > scratches se bike ki performance pe koi asar nahi padta, isliye jyaada tension nahi leni. Sadak pe chalne wali cheej me scratches bhi lagenge aur dents bhi lagne ke chances hote hain. Shuruaat me kuch time bike ka moh rahta hai, isliye aadmi pareshan rahta hai 😁😁
      > agar PPF karwana ho to matte ppf ho, aur ppf provider reputed hona chahiye, halanki maine khud abhi ppf nahi karwaya hai.
      > aap 2-3 saal bike chala ke bike ko poora repaint bhi karwa sakte hain. Agency se repaint ka rate pata kar lena. Mera bhi yahi plan hai.
      > bike pe scratches aa bhi gaye to door se bike ki look pe koi fark nahi padta, sirf closely dekhne par pata lagta hai.
      Best wishes for your bike in advance. 😇😇

    Is it appropriate for hilly region's corners and tilted roads and all ?

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes it is appropriate. But please avoid cornering and braking on corners while you are going uphil or downhil on roads which have snow, mud, sand, loose soil, etc.
      Sometimes when the temperature is much much lower a layer or transparent ice gets deposited on the road. It looks like the road itself, but it is actually a very thin layer of transparent ice.
      In such cases the meteor'r tires may skid easily.

      @@rides-reviews i know it is called pala bro and I'm pretty used to mountainous roads and conditions😅 actually i belong to mountains, that's why I want to know if i should buy meteor .... Or Should I look towards classic or hunter Considering meteor's way forward foot pegs position.. Is it not a little uncomfortable on the mountain roads to ride? As in plain terrain it is the perfect bike for me I guess..... But I have doubts about mountains......Btw you belong to plain terrain or mountainous?

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ajaysinghrawat8745 I belong to a plain area and bought the bike in November 2023. However, my friend who is using meteor since it was first launched in India and he has been to many hill stations, including Rudra Prayag and similar places. he never complained about the bike. He does almost 1 trip to per month to Rishikesh and other hilly areas. As far as you on a ROAD, I don't think there is a problem.
      I think if I were you, I would have gone for a lighter bike, like the hunter. But as far as the extended foot peg position is concerned, I never find it troublesome while riding on the road, obviously here in the planes.
      Don't know, if I answered your question properly, but here is what I meant in short:
      Extended footage position - No problem in plains
      Mountain experience of my friend with a 2 year experience of meteor 350 - No problem
      Recommendation: If you are around 5.5 feet or a few inches more, and will be riding in the mountains, my recommendation is Hunter or Meteor. Not classic, because my feet don't touch the ground properly on the Classic 350 and it feels much much heavier compared to the meteor while both are same weight. I your height is good, you can go for classic as well.
      Problem with Classic 350: use of cast iron in many parts, so parts get rusted easily.

      @@rides-reviews thanks for the detailed response brother... That explains pretty much all ..... I guess the meteor it is.......also I'm 5'6"... For hunter i read about pillion less comfort and smaller seat length..also heating exposure to the rider is more than meteor.... If hunter had longer seat i would have gone for it.

    Supernova lena chahiye ya Staller??

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  17 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Stellar is better value for money.
      Supernova me apko dual tone color schemes milte hain jiska koi practical use nahi hai.
      But supernova me apko front windshield installed milta hai.
      Wo windshield aap stellar ya kisi aur meteor me baad me bhi lagwa sakte hain.
      Isliye agar ap ko supernova ke colors achhe lagte hain and you can soe d extra then fine.
      Otherwise Stellar is my recommendation

    Bro lamination ka kya scene hai iss bike pe? Should we go for it?

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lamination (PPF) tab karwana chahiye, jab aap apni bike ko jaada der dhoop aur dhool mitti me khadi rakhte ho.
      Things to consider:
      1. Good quality PPF only (with minimum 1 year warranty, ki PPF nikaalte time paint kharab nahi hoga)
      2. Agar low quality PPF lagwaya hai, to 1 sal poora hote hi nikalwa dena hai. (Good quality PPFs should start from around 5,000 Rs. Aksar PPF ki warranty jitni extra hoti jayegi, utna price badhta jayega)
      3. Agar aapko chhote mote scratches se jaada dikkat nahi hoti to bina PPD ke bhi kam chal jayega.
      4. Sab se jaada scratch lagne wala area hota hai fuel tank. Agar aap ko bhi helmet nikal ke bike ke tank par rakhne ki aadat hai. Ya aap drive karte time bags etc. Tank pe rakhte ho, to aap sirf fuel tank pe PPF karwa doge, to bhi kafi headache kam ho jati hai.

    Meteor looks heavier overall, could be used for local rides as well.

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, when you get a hang of it, then this bike doesn't feel that heavy. This maybe partially due to the low seat height, which allows people of even my height, effortlessly move this bike.

    Have you checked mileage??

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not exactly, but my guess is around 40 kmpl for highway
      In city, it may be less.
      Will be checking it soon and making a video of the same.

      Le sakte ho. Shuruaat me kuch din apko lagega ki bike jaada lambi hai aur handlebar jaada wide hai.
      Lekin kuch din baad apko bahut easy lagegi.
      Meri height 5.6 feet hai aur mere hisab se bahut acchi hai ye mere liye for city and highway both.

    Bhai every week u wash ? Can we wash it in home ?

    • @rides-reviews
      @rides-reviews  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you can wash it at home.
      Halanki mujhe kabhi time nahi milta ghar pe wash karne ka, to mai to bahar hi wash karwata hun.
      Jab bike pe keechad ya beet etc. pad jati hai aur bike yaada gandi ho jati hai to fir mai turant wash karwa leta hun chahe 1 din pahle hi wash karwaya ho.
      Warna agar sirf dhool jama ho jaye to mai kam chala leta hun 1 hafte aur kai bar 2 hafte bhi.
      Dust saaf karne ke liye microfiber ya achhi quality ka kapda use karo, amazon aur local shops pe mil jayega.
      Agar bike pe ret yani sand pada ho ya bird droppings padi hon to dry body pe kapde se khurachna mat.
      Ghar pe wash kar karne ke liye bhi koi achha kapda use karo (pahanne wale kapde nahi use karna) aur bike pe shampoo foam ko bahut lighly failaana hai jahan jahan dirt ya duar hai. Aur bas wash kar dena hai.
      Sukhane ke liye bhi microfiber.

    केवल Laddakh जाने के लिये RE की बाइक खरीदते हैं क्या लोग, और उसके बाद धूल फांकती है
    मैंने किसी को 50000 या उससे उपर का review नहीं देखा।
    5 साल के अंदर - एक bike 70000 kms चलाके बेच दी और दूसरी भी 50000 kms चल चुकी है.
    Classic ज्यादा चलाने पर घुटनो मे दर्द होने लगता है
    अब avenger 220 या meteor पर नजर है लेकिन जितने review मिले सब ocassionally traveler मिले। 5000 चला के ही खुश हैं

      Hi Vikas ji,
      Same experience mera bhi raha, jab maine apni bike khareedne se pahle khud reviews dekhna shuru kiya.
      Paripekshya ke liye mai apna udaahran deta hun:
      Mera purpose sirf mere office location se weekends pe apne ghar jaana tha.
      Han back of the mind ye tha ki long tours pe zarur jayenge. Lekin ye mai abhi tak kar nahi paya hun.
      Ab baat karte hain budget ki, aur aise logon ki jo shuru se hi apne aap ko ek "RIDER" image me dekhte hain aur jaa ke Classic uthaa laate hain.
      Aise bahut se log successful ho bhi jaate hain aur bahut se nahin bhi hote.
      Jo Laddakh jaise terrain me ek baar Classic 350 se ho kar aa gaye, wo generally kaan pakad lete hain ki Commuter bikes ya low-end cruisers jaise Avenger 220 aur Meteor 350 se ab nahi jayenge Laddakh.
      To laddakh jaane se pagle 2-5,000 km chalayi, laddakh aane jaane me 2-4,000 km chal gayi, fir kabhi sabji lene ja rahe hain aur kabhi kisi ko busstand se pick up karne.
      2-3 saal aur 30 - 40,000 km me shauk poora ho gaya, ab ek Activa chahiye jiski service me 3000-3500 khali nut bolt aur emgine oil ke na dene pade aur bus stop ke pick ups bhi chalte rahe, kabhi kabhar office bhi aana jaana laga rahe aur kabhi LPG cylinder aage rakh ke ghar le aaye.
      -----
      Ab dusre logon ki baat, jo real sense me bike riding ke liye passionate hain.
      Wo log thoda dimaag lagayenge aur Himalayan ya scram jaisi bikes pe haath daalenge, jo ki sahi sence me aur ek mid ha low range offroader bike hai.
      Aise log kuch bhi karein lekin bike ko dhool nahi fankne dete.
      Mere pados me ek Himalayan, ek Yezdi (scrambler model), ek Harley aur ek Ninja 300 hai. Ye log aksar bike wasb wale ke pas bike dhulwate dikh jaate hain pichle 3 saal se.
      So it all depends.

      Meteor me Heat ki problem classic ke mukable kaafi kam hai, sitting postion ki wajah se Kamar, peeth, kandhe kam dukhte hain, ghutne me koi strain mujhe aaj tak nahi hua.
      Mai har 2nd week 150 km one side aur 300 km up and down karta hun. Sirf halka sa lower back me pain hota hai.
      Kuch logo se maine ye suna samjha hai ki jo meteor ki standard seat hoti hai wo jaada soft hai, aur isliye back aur lower back ko support nahi deti. Shayad iski tourer seat RE ka hi 5500 - 6000 ka ata hai. Us me bolstering jaada hai, wo thodi hard seat hai, lekin long rides pe pain ki problem nahi aane deti.
      Halanki mai khud standard seats use kar raha hun is kiye tourer seats ki performance ke baare me sahi sahi nahi bata sakta.
      Ek myth jo commonly biker community me rahti hai, ki bime lambi hone ke kaaran city me chalana mushkil hota hai metsor 350 ko.
      Ye ek dam bakwas hai, city me aur kam speeds me bhi meri meteor 350 ka performance lajawab hai.
      Mere bhai ke paas classic 350 hai, wo stop point se pickup meteor ke mukable achha uthaati hai, lekin jab highways par hon ya low speed me bhi hon to Metwor ki pulling power achhi hone ke saath saath, isme gear jaldi jaldi shift nahi karne padte. Is se bike ke aaram me 10% ijaafa ho jata hai Classic ke mukable.
