    Prof. TN Krishnan's style and Sowkhyam. Nothing more needs to be added. Such strikingly compact technique in every which way. Be it sitting posture, bowing and supple fingers. Anantha Krishnan keeps reminding us who is grand dad was. Really living up to the expectations. Such a wonderful pair. God bless you both.

    Just close your eyes while listening to her. U will be transferred to an eternal and soulful world of divine music. I heard her, in early days, when she was in Mumbai. Their family is known for traditional music. Ms. Charumati is born with music in her heart and soul. One can listen to pure music, without any gimmicks and tricks, to capture half-knowledge audience. May the almighty give her long life of health and happiness, to serve the cause of Carnatic classical music.

    I've never heard the vocal version of this song, but this is one of the few muthuswami krithis I loved at the first instant ! For me it always took time to understand the depth of the genius ! So great !

    This is sooooo divine. Sahasra Pranams to Ms. Charumathi ji for bringing such divinity in her work. The Carnatak Raga Kumudakriya seems similar to Hindustani Rag Puriya Dhanashree. This rendition is so fabulous and best for deep meditation.

    Can someone hear the Tanpura Pa or just me? Kumudakriya is a panchavarja raga
    ARO: S R1 G3 M2 D1 S and AVA: S N3 D1 M2 G3 R1 S. The first string has to be omitted while playing tanpura for panchama varja ragas like kumudakriya, lalita etc... or it should be tuned to Ma for Shuddha Madhyama ragas like hindola, vansatha etc..

    • @bhavanamuralidhar3563
      @bhavanamuralidhar3563 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      ya right. somehow takes the essence of the raga away...

    • @kumarswamy8517
      @kumarswamy8517 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not necessarily eliminate Pa , otherwise it shall sound hollow with Sa-Sa...
