    The best step-by-step video on this subject. For those who did not fully understand the process, there is nothing wrong in looking at it a couple more times. I used this video and made o 750 ml bottle of pure cold press virgin coconut oil. Never knew it was sooooo easy to do. I’ve decided to use no other oils but coconut oil in all my cooking. Thanks for your very informative video.

    Thank you!
    Last week was my first time on trying to make my own coconut oil, since I’m a consumer of this product. The video I followed gave instructions to leave the milk unrefrigerated (untouched) out on room temperature for 48 hra. So I did. Result: over fermented curd and about 1% oil…disaster.
    I WILL follow your video and make it right this time. Thank you again!

    As concerns the water you get after breaking the coconuts, you can drink it. It's sweet and delicious. You can leave it in the fridge. When the weather is hot, it's a really refreshing juice. For the left over after pressing the virgin oil. You mix it with cane sugar, grinded cinnamon,grated green lemon peel, a little vanilla essence or vanilla stick. On a low fire, you turn until the sugar melts. Never stop stirring. After 30 to 45 mn, you get a delicious light powder. Children love that and adults too. We call it "farine coco" in Martinique. We make all sorts of desserts with coconuts: candies , ice creams, cakes, crème brûlée, coconut punch with white rum at Christmas and also salted recipes. Bye

    U can also directly heat from fresh coconut milk until all water evaporates and the curd blackened (dark brown granulated). This type of oil smell so good, nice for massage, frying egg for breakfast while the granulated curd (as not fermented and fresh ) also tasty, it's taste sweet savory and smell god damn good.
    *Don't forget to stir it all the time to avoid burning and use low to medium heat

    Hi. Thank you for sharing your experience. Please after crushing the oil and curd, did you use sunlight to achieve melting?

    • @FoodiesWok
      @FoodiesWok  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching our video,
      Actually we are from India, we get the Room temperature 28° C to 30°C in normal wether condition.
      We can melt the Oil in room temperature. Our room temperature is showing In our video.
      But melting and keeping for 3 days under the hot sun benefits VCO to dry it removes all the moisture from the oil.

    Please is there anyway you can made VCO without refrigerator or low heat

    • @FoodiesWok
      @FoodiesWok  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching our video,
      In the case of cold pressed VCO, you should keep this in refrigerator, because once the coconut milk fermented, it's starts spoiling in normal room temperature that's why it should be keep in refrigerator. If you are in cold country can be keep it in room temperature below 5°C or in a Ice box but should maintain temperature.

    • @FoodiesWok
      @FoodiesWok  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for watching our video,
      If you want to keep VCO in room temperature you should dry your VCO first. Keep your VCO under hot sun for 3 to 4 days to remove (evaporate) all water from it.
      If you can keep it in refrigerator, that is the better way.

      After 12 hours Farmentation I placed in da fridge for 6hrs to further separate water, curd and oil. I then removed the solidified oil and curd, placed into a serately bowl to cool down in room temp for 6 to 8 hours. I didn't get the desired outcome as illustrated, but was able to salvage about 100g of oil. Is there anything I should have done differently? It's my 1st attempt.. Thanx again

      @@IamSegebe
      1st Step : Fermentation of Coconut Milk
      2nd Step : Keep it in refrigerator for solidifying of fermented Coconut Milk
      3rd Step : Discard the water from the bowl
      4th Step : Keep the Coconut oil and Curd mixture at room temperature for melting down. it will separate the oil and curd up and down.
      5th Step : after completely melted with clear oil upside and the curd at the bottom.
      6th Step : keep it in refrigerator again for six hours without shaking the bowl.
      7th Step : Separate the solidified oil (pure white part) and keep it again in refrigerator for preserving it, and use it whenever you want.
      Quantity of Virgin Coconut Oil you get depends on the verity of coconut you used for making VCO.

    This is the right way on how to extract virgin coconut oil...but there is one that you should know ,use young coconut water instead of water from the faucet ....young coconut water has enzyme on it.....

    Mga kapatid stop scrolling po muna. An urgent message for you all po. Jesus is coming soon. Please repent po .. Tayo po ay humingi nang tawad sa Diyos at marunong magpatawad. Mamuhay po tayo para sa Diyos hindi para sa sarili at lalong hindi sa mundo. Ang lahat nang bagay sa mundo ay temporary ang Diyos natin ay forever. Jesus is the way, the truth and the Life...Mahalin po natin siya nang may tapat na pag-ibig. Sa kanya lang natin mahahanap ang tunay na halaga natin. Read bible , preach or share Gospel po. Salamat po mga kapatid sa pagbabasa God bless po❤️
