    I finally get it.
These 9 principles are not rules with each demanding a set quota for good design.
They are simply considerations that have to be given to a proposed design in the light of its theme.
The relative importance of each of the 9 will vary with the subject, e.g. a poster about people in general will not focus so much on any individual in a photo but rather on the group coherence despite the individual differences like size, shape, clothing, etc.

Segal .. brother.. im writing this comment cause that's all i can return for this, not just the mere course, but the "wisdom" that you shared.. more than information, i could feel your love and nurturing soul.. i loved to see through your eyes brother.. ! I listened to everything very carefully.. it made me feel very content.. to the heart.. i can sense the brilliance and excellence in each and everything you did on the screen... and believe me, i don't stay on any media more than some seconds.. I am glad I'm born in this era, where i can meet guys like you , without being physically there !!
Thank you very much for being online... What you poured over there (your heart).. it really matters very much ! God bless you segal ! love from india

    Thanks, very inspiring!
I'd add one general aspect: consider audience and accessibility.
For example I'd avoid using one-page designs when targeting people who don't feel comfortable with movement on the page and content appearing and disappearing when scrolling (e. g. older/more traditional users) - similar to movies/commercials with very fast cuts.
The same thoughts apply to font/element sizes, color/contrast and page complexity in general - requirements might not only depend on audience (e. g. visually impaired people), but also on aspects like page format (printed magazine vs. desktop browser vs. mobile device) and viewing distance.

Regarding grids...should one use the same grid throughout an entire project? Does it depend on the project or the medium? Thank you 😃

Thank yo for the tutorials. I'm a beginner using WordPress and Elementor. How or where do I get a grid that will always be on top and be able to move around independent of the webpage elements? I have a ruler app that does this. Just wondering about a grid app.

I appreciate this analysis, however, given the massive, growing use of mobile browsers it seems as designers we should first focus on mobile layouts that well execute your design principles.

    • @FluxAcademy

That's not always true, it really depends on the site / audience, our websites is majorly visited on desktop, and almost all buying decision on our website are done on desktop

I know I’m probably the odd ball but I find websites like Gucci’s promotional website to be obnoxious. Often I’m looking for information quickly and I don’t want to scroll through a ton of images to find that information. Maybe it works for promotional websites but I would think most businesses should focus on less is more.

This was not helpful at all. I have studied some layout (Making and breaking the grid). And sure, you do a very good job of showing the art of doing pleasing layouts.
But, I am interested in transferring this to the screen. So I hoped that you would show examples of this for every 9 points on the screen. Bad and good ones.
You know your stuff, but as this is a Webdesign channel. The last example of this website of the movie, is nothing like anything a web design would do it. It doesn't cut it.
    It wasn´t helpful at all...
