Hi Angelia, I reread "A Raisin in the Sun" last year and loved it. I love plays and am so happy you are reading them. I don't understand Discord very well but I will try to join you on"The Fire Next Time" Aloha friend.
@@MarilynMayaMendoza For whatever reason, I caught onto Discord faster than Voxer, but I'm pretty comfortable with both now. If you feel like stepping in, it's a very casual group discussion.
So many great projects. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed by this month already. I've got to regroup and figure out what I can actually do. Just started re-reading A Raisin...today. Such a great play!
@@BookChatWithPat8668 Really, Pat? You overscheduled? Surely not! 😀 I'm not sure how I got two degrees in English and missed reading Raisin until now...
@ I didn’t read it in as a student either. I read it on my own, and then we included it in our curriculum for 10th grade, American Lit. It’s a stunning play.
The Reader’s Book of Days sounds fun. My niece gave me a similar type of book about 3 years ago: Bedside Companion for Book Lovers, edited by Jane McMorland Hunter-again, I have hope of making it through 😎 Your TBR list looks juicy.
I loved Olga Dies Dreaming. The name of the author is pronounced So-Cheel. If you enjoy the book, I have a recipe video inspired by it. :) Looks like you’ve got a good TBR this month! I’m hoping to read some more Percival Everett too!
Reading A Raisin in the Sun. As beautiful as I remembered.
@@KCRReads I just finished it for the first time and I'm so impressed by Hansberry writing that at such a young age.

@ameliareads589 😊

@@vickicoleman2474 Juicy is much better than dry, lol! Your reader's book sounds like another nice one.

There’s a picture book about Ona Judge, that’s where I first heard about her.
@@bookofdust I guess I never saw that picture book but the story sounds compelling.
